I think he is pointing this out because it appears to be the exact same keyboard and monoprice is selling it for $130. http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10850&cs_id=1080906&p_id=9181&seq=1&format=2
Perhaps it is somehow different though? Not sure.
EDIT: didn't...
If you are on a shared plan, then upgrading every year isn't nearly as expensive as you might thing. It's roughly $250 total premium over a 2 year contract period. Add a new line with your new phone, swap the phones on your old number, and ask verizon/att to put in a fake tablet id on the new...
That doesn't really explain it. He doesn't want the wide gamut that an IPS display would most likely display implying he probably doesn't want it for graphic/design stuff. an IPS display will only have more lag on it so is not really a good solution if you are wanting it for games - and from...
Yes, apple is expected to announce/release/refresh whatever you want to call it, the remainder of their cinema display line the first week of January...The LED Cinema Display is only the first of what we can expect. I would think though that the rest are geared more towards high end use - so if...
I actually just went through the same decision. I have a 15" unibody macbook pro and was looking for a 24-30" monitor to gain some real-estate.
I had about $1800 set aside to be able to afford a nice monitor. With the student discount, I can get a 30" ACD for $1700 from apple - you can also...
Sceptres are not at all bad monitors. Very good for the money, actually.
Their service is godawful. My old company almost exclusively resold these for installations - I went through hundreds for the time I was there. We have a few very, very bad experiences. Don't expect much help if you...
I snagged a 3008WFP A02 off of ebay (NIB sealed) for $1000 after discounts last night...
It is replacing the 24" samsung I grabbed at costco the other day thinking I could get away with a cheaper display.
Sucks I wont even be able to use it though till later December as I'm still waiting...
I'm ordering a NEC LCD2690 for $1004 after shipping from MacMall this evening actually...
It's expensive but $1004 is a steal from all the other prices I can find.
Just out of curiousity, why not just pickup a 24" Samsung from Costco or something?
If you don't need the wide gamut stuff, then what reason is there to get an ACD? Apple/NEC/Eizo/etc put out some really fantastic monitors, but the business/professional models really aren't designed for...
No need to go balistic just yet.
Lets wait and see what Apple can come out with as far as adapters. They are still having trouble getting some of the already announced adapters out (mini-DP => dual DVI for 30" screens come to mind).
I do think we will see some DP => Mini-DP adapters...
What group did you add him to? "Administrators" (with the s)?
If he needs to have access to do basic stuff, it is best to give him as limited access as he needs. This typically means leaving him as a domain user within AD and giving each user extra privileges on their personal computer.
If...
He may have done it through the bid computers on his states education porthole. Those computers come standard with a 3 year warranty so an extra year would be relatively cheap.
I have a few items for sale...
1) a hardly used Dell X51V WM5 PDA - flawless screen - have always used a screen protector with it - comes with all original accessories, documentation and software as well as a rhino titanium case (Great Protection). Used for less than a month - have since...
Hi all,
I recently (a few weeks back) bought a Mac and am now unable to use my Windows version of Quickbooks Pro 2006. I bought it in December 2005 (4 months back) and am now a month out of my return window - so I am stuck with it. I am just trying to offset the cost of a Mac version...
I concur with synergy01...I have been using adium for a week now and it does EVERYTHING msn does...that coupled with the fact that I can use googletalk, aim, icq and msn (on top of other types if I decide to use other messengers) all on a single slick interface with no issues...I'm sold.
Plus...
I have a 3 month old copy of QuickBooks Pro 2006 - although opened, was never used. I recently made the switch to mac and am in need of a MAC copy instead.
Laptop is in near perfect condition. No scratches, dents - has never been dropped. Works flawlessly. Has virtually unnoticable wear on the top cover behind LCD from rubbing in the zero shock case - ie: it has about a 1/2 " grey stain on both corners if the LCD is shut on the white finish...
It is fairly easy to refresh back to stock firmware....sooo...I dont see how it could be such a huge issue warranty wise. Unless ofcourse you were physically unable to flash back...then perhaps there is a problem! :) Have fun
I'm ebaying my 12" inspiron 700m. 2GB ram in it...compact, relatively fast with a pent-m 1.8ghz proc...Had it for 6 months and I love it. I am though more excited to have a macbook pro
I got a macbook pro off of ebay yesterday morning for dirt cheap (relatively speaking) sealed and NIB...
Anyone seen a fix yet for the BSOD issue?
I'm getting prepared to sell my inspiron 700 but dont want to unless I know I can at least run windows stably (at least until I understand much more how os-x works)
Ironic...here I am a newly acquainted MCSE/MCSA and all I want to do is get rid of...
I have a lot of 10 - 2GB SanDisk SD Cards coming in about a week here...will sell individually for $75 ea (includes USPS shipping) msg me if you want one reserved.
You cant run OS-X on non-apple hardware at the moment without some emulator...
You can, in theory, run windows on the mac hardware...though I dont recall reading if anyone has been successful with it yet.
