I'm looking to purchase a 8800gts, i've been looking at an inno3d or pov 8800gts. In either 320mb/640mb models and i'm not sure of which to go for. Are these two brands any good, or should i stretch to the EVGA versions? Also would a corsair 520w PSU manage to power these?

Either you are wrong or my Ipod 2nd gen is broken as it took basically 12hours to charge as stated above. I know this because i picked it up and it was charging then 2mins later it had a big "Charged" message.

I just charged mine using my macbook and it's took from 11.30-23:20 to finish.

There are piles of lightweight torrent apps like Transmission? I'm looking for something similar to Tranismission (It's being banned off many trackers). And with Tomato Torrent i couldn't change the ports.

I'm looking for a torrent app that is similar to transmission, lightweight and simple. I know of tomato torrent but didn't like it. If you could recommend any lightweight ones you've came across it would be appreciated. Merry Christmas...back to the presents :)

I've had to put something inbetween screen and keyboard as the keyboard marks the screen and it really annoys me :( It can be hard ti clean the screen too, so i'm going to buy something to do it, as i've tried things in the house.

That i understand :p Better off waiting for someone with more experience than me, just got my macbook monday...you'll love it ;)

Brokenboysoldier, does your old laptop have a dvd burner? I would recommend just burning the old folders and stuff onto it and whatever you really want or need copy onto the macbook.

I'll reinstall firefox and try that, but i have 1gb ram and it won't stop doing it, i'm gonna double check with safari as i'm sure it done it there too, maybe not. It's like when i type anywhere, any forum or in the address bar it seems to lag and text doesn't appear right away and i can keep...

Well i've been putting my problems in another thread and i think people haven't really had much of a look at it really, so i thought i should make my own thread and give some details of my problems before i start getting onto apple about it. Firstly, text issue - Right now while typing this...

Instead of making new thread i thought i'd post in here again. My macbook seems to be very hot right now and if it was on my lap it would be too hot to have on it. Just watching videos of youtube i have seen the fans start to come on and stay constant the whole time til a min or two after...

This may be a stupid question but when the new OS X comes out, do apple give existing users it or do you need to purchase it like windows...that's what i pressume you'd have to do. If so how much will it cost roughly? Sorry for a silly question like that :o

I'd have to disagree with your statement. Gear doesn't dictate PVP, if you got brains and know how to play your char you can beat that person in rank 14 gear. Seen it happen so much, brains > gear. But gear does help.

Ah ok, so it would be 1.25gb. I'm from Scotland so it's different over here all these prices and stuff. Right ok, might have to purchase two 1gb sticks or just go with 1x 1gb and 1x256mb stick combined.

So i could buy a new 1gb stick and keep the old 512 and it will work fine? Thanks for the help :)

Will installing the memory myself break the warranty or anything? Would it be better to put 2x512matched or a 1gb stick and keep the 512 with it? Or does it need to have matched sticks, sorry i've never had an apple :)

Ok thanks, but i thought that these two different macbooks would have totally different performance.

I don't mind what settings it's on, but if it can run fine in raids in the new patch coming next year and in the battlegrounds i don't mind. I don't want max fps, but playable fps and no lagg. I was hoping because it's got these new core duo2 cpu's it might help not having an actual graphics...

I've been interested in getting rid of my pc and getting a laptop. I've always liked apples ibooks and macbooks that i've seen friends etc use. So i've been interested in getting one myself instead of a windows one. My only problem is how well will these new MacBooks run WoW? As i noticed...

Hey all, I'm having a problem where firefox jitters/shakes when im using it, i do have an idea what's causing it but i want to stop it because i think it's windowsblind theme doing it. But it everything else works, except this. Anyone had a problem like this before? Thanks.

Hey.. This may sound stupid but i somehow managed to take off the desktop shortcut on the quicklaunch bar where you can open other things like internet explorer. Since i use this button a lot i'd like it back, i think i dragged it onto the desktop then there was a shortcut on the desktop...

Hey, Im on the look for a new mouse,mouse pad and keyboard. Im willing to pay decent money for the mouse, but the keyboard not as much. And the mousepad not too much either hopefuly. Any ive had my eye on the mx510 and icemat/steelpad and people have just reccomended me a standard keyboard...
