Since I got a 3090 as an upgrade, need to sell off the old card to make room. Card has been used for over a year in my main rig. No overclocking done to it. Kept in my office and away from pets and kids. Looking to get $1000 + actual shipping. I'll cover the PP fees if needed.
Also, I am...
So I got extremely lucky yesterday. I have been looking to buy one of the higher end cards as an upgrade to my 2080ti for awhile. Haven't been able to buy anything. Waited outside a Microcenter a few times when I was visiting family members over the holidays as they lived near one (I currently...
I was asking for clarification. I don't want to hit a Report button on someone that isn't breaking the rules. It more of a clarification on what is considered a "storefront" around here. It is one thing to sell some old "collector" item that isn't made anymore for higher prices. If it truly is...
So explicitly stated in the forum rules is that this isn't a place to be a storefront nor make a profit. I am sure some people do turn a small profit from time to time, but I thought that wasn'tt the spirit of these forums. Hence the more recently rule posted about no scalping. For those...
There is one easy way to solve scalping. Add $1000 to the price with a $1000 mail in rebate. One rebate per account. No laws needed. Scalping would end over night.
You forgot primers as well. I could cast if I really want my own projectiles and even make my own powder if I REALLY want to try. Can't do primers though.
PC market on just about anything right now is crazy. I did get a couple of Xbox Series X units for myself and a few PS5s now as well...
So I had a little HTPC with a Lenovo m93p that I had a 1650 low profile card installed in already. My wife's friend had a computer die due to a power surge that fried it. I originally tried fixing it, but it is toast for such an old computer. She needed a new one for her work, her kid's school...
I did, they told me the price and if I used paypal add in 3%. I plugged the price into my calculator and times it by 1.03% and sent it. They said it was a few cents short somehow. That was with them using the online usps postage guesstimation for shipping on top after I gave them my zipcode...
So I just recently contacted a forum member, who at this point shall remain unnamed, about a product they were selling. The product happened to be one of the latest expensive video cards. I asked a few questions and then told them I would buy it once they sent me their paypal info. They said if...
It doesnt. The 6000 series barely do ray tracing and not really well enough to be playable in most games. If you really want ray tracing in your games then get an nvidia 3000 card. If ray tracing doesnt interest you yet then the bang for the buck performance is the 6800xt right now really.
I use the bot for tracking if it comes back, I manually buy everything. I say bot, but it's just some javascript code on their main page that refreshes and checks if anything has changed in the tiles for buying. It isn't sophisticated enough to actually buy anything.
The other issue I have is AMD site is still messing up for me. I can't buy anything. Trying to buy a 3950x just to cancel after buying to test it. Won't let me.
it will turn yellow for me after like 5 minutes or so of waiting. Then I can add to cart but the item says for IN STORE PICKUP ONLY. Then I can select no stores. So I can't progress. Been that way for weeks for me.
every time I've tried best buy in the last 3-4 weeks on anything, I can add to my cart but it won't ship and I can never select a store to pick up from no matter what item it is. video card or console.
Well just got around to installing this 6800 on the wife's computer. Definite jump in performance. Now I just need my new 5950x cpu and I can give the 3950x to my wife. Then she should be set for awhile. I am going to shoot for the 6900xt for my setup.
I dont think too many bots got this one at least direct from AMD website. There certainly are people scalping the one they got, but as far as other avenues of purchase of this card this morning I am 110% certain the bots got all those.
AMD has been doing that for weeks with random price changes on sold out pages for various products. I see the 5950x for example jump around from MSRP to almost 1400 on occasion. It's strange but whatever.
Yah, once I saw the reviews of the 6800xt overclocked outperforming the 3090... I couldn't even think of justifying the cost of one. I feel at this point I dodged a bullet in not being able to buy a 3090 previously. I certainly tried, but at this point glad I didn't.
Microcenter and AMD all...
My original plan was to get a RTX 3080/3090. Then once I saw that performance of the AMD cards I switched gears to wanting a 6800xt/6900xt card to replace my 2080ti and move the 2080ti to my wife's computer. Now that I got this 6800 instead I going to give that to my wife and sell the 2080ti...
