Well I booted into windows with my 1080 and the 1080 ti pluggedinto the 2nd pci e port. The 1080 ti doesn't even show up as a display adapter. Guess it's dead dead.

Think it's worth flashing a different BIOS on the card too if it shows up properly in windows or nah?

Truth. The only way a task manager would be useful is if it tagged CPU usage on the applications so you could actually close the one hogging it all. I've had to do that a few times to resolve issues.
