The drive works fine with a normal cable. Have tried all combos of drive power then plug in, plug in then drive power etc. None of that works... WIndows only sees the 'generic usb hub' but nothing more...

I actually can't run my own server because I am using Amazon Web Services and since spammers used AWS for exactly this purpose, all AWS ips are blacklisted by the majority of mail clients. I could run a mail server elsewhere but this is a pain since the rest of my stuff is on AWS.

Hi, So I have a few LTO2 tapes that got mixed up. I am using windows backup and set unique media labels for each tape. Is there any way to put the tape in and see what the media label is? Thanks, Danyal

Yup just booted it up and installed windows. Still having a few problems booting after the install though, but I think it has to do with my master/slave config since my CD-ROM and OS drive are on the same IDE channel. Will look into it more tomorrow and post an update. -Danyal
