I had the original set back in the early 2000's, and just picked these up a few months ago. I don't think I'd ever notice without a side by side comparison. The biggest issue with this set is selecting the input can be wonky. (Line-in vs. BT) I've read horror stories of people in apartment...
Thanks, I saw that today as well.
My shop BLT order is supposed to ship on the 7th. I see prices are crashing and stock is rising. Some Microcenters have A2000's in stock right now. I get the feeling I wait another month I'll get one(any modern CAD card) at MSRP. Right now I'm in at $1250...
I got a lot of graphical artifacts on my 5700XT and RTX 3080, Studio/Creator drivers or not. I actually give two shits about Realview really...
And you have both cards?
Well I got screwed. Provantage called me at 2:22pm to confirm my order, the guy said they still had one for me to ship out. Got an e-mail at 3:45pm telling me "our distributor ran out of stock". The guy talked like he had it in his hands about to throw it in the box. I guess I shouldn't...
Thank you, I couldn't believe it. I hit search real quick on that part number - it's an HP card, and a link to Provantage.com came up. They had them in stock as well for $1263, so I made an account and pulled the trigger. Hope I don't regret not going thru Staples...seems way more legit, but...
Thanks, I had seen that earlier this week. These days it's a great deal, but I was trying to avoid having that kind of money "out" at the moment. I'm about to pull the trigger on a legit seat of SolidWorks + a CAM package (so around $7k or so), plus upgrade my spindle motor on my mill to a...
Anyone know when these are ever coming back, or are they just selling them ALL directly to miners? Totally kicking myself for not rushing to Microcenter (2 hour drive) to pick one up when they actually got some in stock. Looks like most ended up on eBay at $1000. Absolutely zero stock since...
Welcome, yet disappointing. I would pay $999 for an "adult" version of Nintendo hardware/software. They do realize we're all 40+ (4 O next week for me) now right? That were born into the NES?
Intel is going to be sitting pretty on their discrete GPU launch here soon. They'll actually be able to move their CPU's. Who wants a shiny new 5000 series processor if you can't get a nice GPU to go with it? Apparently nobody anymore.
I don't think mining is going anywhere. I just started on late Friday or Saturday night (14 or 15th, can't remember)...it's more than paying for my electric bill at the moment it seems (71+ euro value in my wallet already). Although we just turned the AC on a day or two ago. You can see...
Yeah I could have gotten one a few times the last couple days, but the wife went and bought $4000 in new flooring RIGHT after I bought the $2000 Asus RTX 3080 Rig. This Omen is a better price AND better hardware than that one.
So when you put the "-" (minus) sign in front, you're saying to reduce the core clock? I assume we're doing this in MSI Afterburner? Or is there a better app? (is there no where to do this in the nVidia settings/control panel?)
Asus TUF Gaming. It's the card that comes out of the $1999...
Mine sucks apparently. Opening up my case helped a bit, but it was running 100+C on the memory and only 85 MH. Says its at 200w. I've done zero tweaking - had AMD cards since the 8800GT basically.
I'm hesitant man...I found this page finally on their site: https://rog.asus.com/supportonly/g15ce/helpdesk_bios
Version .205, which is what's on the machine already...
If it wasn't at work already I'd try it, but I don't have time for it to get borked and deal w/ bios flashback bla bla bla.
Nearly the same issue in my Fractal Design Define R6... I've always thought it to be fairly good quality. Asus B450-F in that...
Common denominator is Asus over engineered retaining clip IMO.
Anyone looking for the RTX A4000? I got an e-mail from nVidia saying it's now available...yet to see it in stock anywhere, if it even has a page at all. I think I wants it.
Chopstick FTW! I knew you guys would come thru, thank you! That took WAY too much pressure to get off though, WTF is Asus thinking?!
Also, for anyone who finds this, beware the extra bracket that fixes the tail end of the video card to the case in these Asus pre-builds. I have horrible...
Yeah it's probably down in the image, I've been gently pulling on the card, and I can feel it pull back, not letting the card go. Push the card back in, and it kinda clicks back into place as you'd expect.
So I got the $2000 Asus RTX 3080 from Best Buy. The box was already opened, didn't notice till I got home. Luckily the 3080 was in there, and it appears to have booted up fine. I installed HW Info first to get some screenshots for everyone on what's in this thing if you were curious, I can...
I think it will be sooner than that. I've been at this for months, and got a 3080 rig AND and Xbox X within 2 days of each other. My Microcenter has been sitting on 25+ of all Ryzen 5000 series for over a week now. Shit is letting up already. It'll still be insanity compared to say 2019, but...
The Asus 3070 PC just hit Best Buy again. If you're looking for the 3080 version I'd start camping the site now, when one hits the other usually follows not far behind. Looking forward to getting mine tomorrow to see if it was worth it.
Cool. I got it for my in-laws. SiL has been looking for one for their kids since it launched, no luck. I've been elevated to "favorite uncle" status. :)
$2k 3080 Rig is up again.

And the $1600 3070 Rig...
I've seen whole computers with 3070's showing up in stock all day for not much more than that. It's sad if people are actually paying $1000 for that card.
Back in stock again. 3rd time today.
*edit*
4th time now. So they've had at least 4. This last one lasted less than 10 seconds before it was out of stock though.
