When using line in or "what you hear" I have a reduction in audio volume. I can edit the file in wave studio and increase the volume as workaround, but that takes a lot more time. Sound volume recorded from cds is fine--ie much louder than line in recording. My current setup is as follows...
Nobody has mentioned one of the absolute best RPGs--Divine DIvinity by Larian Studios. Roughly it is like a combo of Baldur's Gate and Diablo 2 with a sense of humor. And the sequel--Beyond Divinity is coming out this March.
