I ran into the same problem with a Toshiba laptop that had Windows 8 on it. I had to change a setting in the BIOS under Boot Mode from UEFI Boot to CSM Boot. As soon as I did this, I could boot from any of my CD/DVDs and USB devices.

I can stream fine from other computers. It's only local network traffic to and from my server. I looked in the event log but didn't find anything. Is there a way to view the log in real time? So I can see the errors as they happen?

I fixed the problem. I replace the motherboard, ram, cpu, hdd, and psu and it runs great now. Thanks to everyone that helped out.

It works in that order and it will boot up the cd. My WD Raptor HD failed on me so I am going to have to get a new one. I hope that it was the HD that was causing these boot issues. If it still messes up when I try to overclock with the new HD installed I will try the boot order you suggested.

I have it booting as: 1) Floppy 2) CDROM 3) HD I have the onboard SATA enabled and in enhanced mode.

I just bought the TDK 8x DVD+/-R burner and installed it along with my old dvd drive. So now I have 2 sata drives and 3 cd/dvd drives installed in my computer. When I installed the 2 dvd drives it wont boot the hd. It says "verifying DMI Pool Data .........." and the says "Boot from CD:"...
