Load up Xmpeg,

Edit audio accordingly

Sata II controllers are all backwards compatible to sata I drives.
Oddly enough, Sata II drives can also run on Sata1 controllers. Just, not with SataII features.

You could always get yourself a copy of knoppix live, and DD the drive to and from the external drive.
I do believe, that, the newest version of ghost has some sort of "USBdos" driver...
At the very least, I *KNOW* it has a network support, so you could get yourself one of those nice dlink...
Panasonic makes 250gb hdd's?
I am not trying to sound condescending.. but..If you don't even know what kind of harddrive you have, you might want to not be installing harddrives.. let alone trying to fix corrupted partitions.
Hardrive manufacturers that I know of

Oh, no.. I'm on firefox ..Just.. well.. It sucks.. it's just a lesser evil..
I don't like the fact that half the websites I visit don't work, and that it uses 300% more memory than I.E. but I like spyware even less.
I'm on 1.5.. I'll see if oldversion.com has earliers.. cause getfirefox.com doesn't.
Removing adblock didn't help.
There were reports of severe memory leaks in the beta of 1.5.. but.. they were supposedly fixed..
To quote your PM to me.. Verbatim.

Can you clarify what you mean about the linux issue. Do you mean that there is poor driver support under linux, or that the chipset itself on this specific board is defective....? I.e. if I want to run WinXpProSP2 on it, will it dog on the s-ata.. or is it a SOFTWARE problem?

Here's where you are at, and I have some questions
1) How much data needs to be backed up?
2) are you going to be backing up a server, or just "the boss's computer"
What you can do for backup, is build a ghost image on the computer that needs to be backed up (Norton Ghost...

It's still tape.. and with his reasoning, and his budget.. I'm thinking no.
Personally, if it was me.. I would just sell all the drives that are smaller than 400gb.. use...
IT depends on where that 20 gigs of free space is..
E:\?
or C:\
How much free space do you have on C:\ ?
You could have 500gigs free on auxilliary drives.. but if you are at 10mb empty space on C:\... it could be problematic..
You are correct to talk about verifying, however, as.. the motherboard in the computer IN THE PHOTO is not the same one as I linked to (notice the pci-e x 1 slot & 2 pci's versus the 3 pci's..)
