My girlfriend who has been ripping DVDs from Netflix is going crazy with all the DVDs we have around the house now. She wants to see if there is a way we can store all of the movies in a PC and select what we what to watch from that. I don't want the Windows Media simply because we...
Folks just to let you know that the 4.57 audio drivers for the Nforce2 are out here:

I for one was having audio hangs so I'll see if this clears it up. Update at your own risk. If your not having problems then leave it alone I guess.
I would like to see this test with a 9800 Pro 256. Can we also see a test with an Athlon 3200+. I haven't made the jump to 64 bit yet so until an OS supports it I don't see the point.
Nothing overclocked at all. As a matter of fact I just finish putting a hole on the side case panel to let some cool air in. I did take the panel off when I cut the hole and it was properly cleaned. I don't have any pics. The gf had the camera and she was out of town when it happened. I...
Well a couple of weeks ago my 9800 Pro caught on fire right by the molex connector. The whole system shut down and the lovely smell of burnt semiconductors came over me. I looked at the case and smoke was coming out. I ripped the power cord out and the case door open. A flame was visible...
Just got back from Micro Center and they had a pretty good deal on 9800 Pros for $229.
Here's the link:

I picked one up for gf. Maybe she'll quit bitching now (she had a 7500 hehe)
The fan is starting to do the flutter of death. I would like to use an Orb, but I don't want to order one that doesn't fit the push pin holes. Anyone have any suggestions as to what would be a great replacement. She is starting to get really hot, or should I just go ahead and replace the damn...
That is what I was thinking? Though the that would be a bit of a sour April fools joke. Nvidia and ATI are beating the crap out of each other right now. I have to say it IS possible, but the timing leaves credibility in question.

ATi rejects R420 and sets...
Is it not possible that ATI is doing this for financial reasons? We all know that to REALLY enjoy the upcoming titles and some current ones you need a fast ass system. Why not take the rejects that meet a certain, predefined reject criteria...I don't think many of us know a helluva alot about...
Guys and gals I don't know if you saw this:

I was doing some research on Intrinsity and the Fast14 process. I was thinking that the MATH-LP would be a perfect fit for ATI...

I'm just curious, because that is when I'll update my mobo. Who is going to be first to market? Anyone have any ideas what prices we could see? The big quesiton is that will there be backward compatability with current PCI products? If not this could be an expensive venture.
Thanks I'll give it a try and let ya know what happens. This has been bugging me for the past few days. When I typed in tsflash biosname.bin /o it gave me optional flags (as I call them) and /f was not one of them. I did notice that tsflash was made by Award but the Transcend site said not to...
