This place has them for $99 each, I bought two a while back for my PLP setup. They are definitely used, some scratches on the casing but the screens themselves are like new.

Some of the systems I deployed at a previous job back in 2001 are still up and running just as I left them according to some of the guys that still work there. Pretty amazing, and somewhat sad they are still using them.

If you already have the blade chassis or enclosure then they more than likely would; I've found that the cost of the enclosure often turns people away from blades. At my last job I was able to work in a deal where Dell would provide the enclosures for free if we fully populated them from the start.

I went and passed the exams for Net+ and Security+, I figured I might as well get them (I had vouchers for both exams anyway). Easy exams compared to some of the other performance based stuff but never hurts to have on the resume.

Not as much as most people I'd wager but I have about 2.3TB out on CrashPlan right now.

I did the same thing, I have an 80GB Intel SSD for the OS and a 1TB HDD for data storage. I rarely used the optical drive on my MBP anyway! :D

I use CrashPlan and Carbonite, as well as backups to external disk (stored at the bank). I'm most impressed with CrashPlan and may drop Carbonite after my 3 years is up. Highly recommend CrashPlan for backups, hell I'm backing up my all of my friends/family to my fileservers @ home then...

I'm still getting over the shock of moving to SSD's, I've actually been buying them and upgrading my family's computers and some of my friends. If you are thinking about going SSD, stop thinking and just do it.

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on that QX2 unit and using it with one of my older mini's (1.2GHz G4) just to backup....my backup server. Might be a neat little setup to mess around with.

I have a buddy at work that's been using the OWC Mercury Pro QX2 and he likes it so far. I've been thinking about using one of my mini's and picking up the same enclosure. It's not too bad price wise if you bring your own drives (it's $299 empty)...

I have a set of these. I am quite pleased with them as far as gaming is concerned, I still use my Koss Pro-4AA phones for listening to music.

I am also disappointed that no other vid cards have surround gaming support. I have 3 screens but no vid card that will span across them all. :(
