In addition to the CD-key issue I was told they quit buying used pc games because someone could "buy it, copy it, and resell it to do the same to another game." Also because they merged with Gamestop and Gamestop's policies are being used now.

Yeah I did have the power connected up on the card correctly. As it is I have found out today what is causing the error. The KG-7 AGP is AGP 2.0. The Sapphire 9800Pro I bought is AGP 3.0 and it is not backwards compatible.

Did you ever get it working? I just installed a brand new 9800Pro 128 in my system and it is having the exact same problem. I took it out of my main system and put it in an old Pentium II system and it boots just fine. For the record I'm running:
