My thoughts exactly.
If you wanted to use a mouse and keyboard you could've just bought a good gaming PC. I used to solely play PC first-person shooter games and the transition to a controller is hard, takes a lot to get used to.
My unit got the RRoD back in August and I got it back early September and, despite being very loud, I haven't had a single issue with it yet. Let's hope it goes at least a year like first Xbox did.
Does anyone know of anybody still using a launch 360?
That didn't come with mine.
If you can't find any code you could always try calling Microsoft (heh). I don't remember getting one with mine. Is this standard now?
A few days ago I realized it had been ages since I last installed my video card drivers. I uninstalled, used Driver Cleaner and all was well. When I tried to install the new ones I began to get this error message:
I don't know how or why this is happening, but whatever the cause it's not...
I installed PerfectDisk to see how it was compared to the built-in Windows defragmenter. After I launched the program I noticed that PerfectDisk was not recognizing either one of my drives. I uninstalled it with the intention of reinstalling it later. When I booted back up and tried to...
Sometimes my CD-RW has difficulty booting to a CD. It'll blink a lot but never actaully boot to the CD, even though the BIOS recognizes it and it works fine when in Windows. Also, it sometimes burns discs inproperly in Nero or Roxio.
Any ideas on what this is and why it came about?

Check your memory timings. As obvious as that might seem, it slipped my mind when I was having issues with both games and applications. I relaxed my timings a little bit and haven't had any problems since then (its been about two months).
Same goes for me. I haven't burnt any hardware and rarely am I shocked. I don't use the strap or the spray either, so I'm kind of glad it's all been working out for so long now.

It should make the prices of DDR go down. Back when DDR was first introduced, the price of SD dropped significantly. The more the price goes down the better. I'm looking into a Christmas upgrade and no way will I be able to afford DDR2.
I have the demo version of Nero 6 Ultra and I'm a little lost as to how I burn my 'shrike-i386-disc1.iso' properly. It needs to be bootable so I can install Redhat 9 on my PC. In Nero 5 their used to be a 'Burn Image' feature.
Thanks a lot.

I recently got the 'AMSNMGR' bug. It makes your PC automatically close 'MSConfig' and 'Task Manager' as soon as they open. The application is running, but can't be taken down (because of the closings). It also always runs on startup. Safe mode helped me none.
Help?
