Yeah 1st place I went to as I sometimes get the same issue with it selecting my LG monitor as the output device lol!
Dunno what happened but its sorted now.
Literally there was no audio, nothing even though the driver was reported as working ok, I tried the uninstall driver with the delete software option ticked, but it would just reboot reinstall a driver and again no sound.
I have just fixed it anyway using DDU to remove Realtek HD Audio (WIP)...
This has been annoying me today and I just cannot get the Realtek HD Audio Manager to work correctly.
The driver offered on Gigabytes site is completely broken, yes the sound works (Only after actually powering off the board) but Stereo Mix is broken and does not function (I need this), The...
English is fine.
Signed.
I will do what I can to get word out on FB and Twitter but if anyone has a Gigabyte US forum account then there are a load of threads about the issue there but strangely none in the UK.
Everyone needs to be telling gigabyte e-suppprt everytime this issue occurs even if you have already had a ticket battle, Keep on at them linking them to this forum.
Some one suggested the exact same thing on the Aorus Facebook group (most probably the same person) but its irrelevant because my PC is powered through an expensive mains filter with a built in surge protector as I am a amateur radio operator its imperetive that I protect my sensitive equipment...
IMO it is 100% something to do with no:1 on your list, take a look at the heat shield on the back of the mobo there is a point where its literally a mm away from a solder point. I was wondering if maybe a static charge could build up on that solder point and jump to the heat shield but noone has...
The issue happens at shutdown ready for when you start the computer back up.
You will know that the issue has occurred when the on board power button is not illuminated like normal.
Someone in the Gigabyte AORUS Facebook group has suggested that something seems to be tripping the over volt / under volt protection circuit which has made me think of a fire hazard...
From now I will be pulling the plug on this thing when I'm not about.
Edit
Did anyone see how close part of...
Wonder what Gigabyte would do if we organised a date and time and all sent a e-support ticket at exactly the same time about this issue.
There must be hundreds if not thousands of people that are suffering from this issue and maybe trying the above method may force their hand and make them...
Did you record the phone call by any chance? Their eSupport are in denial there is an issue which obviously conflicts with everyone's problem in this thread and also your phone call. If you do have a recording it can be used against them but if not then that is just "hearsay" as they say and is...
ERP has zero effect on this issue and I'm going to say that no BIOS setting will correct this issue.
Its either a flaw in the motherboard design or a bug in the BIOS firmware but sadly my money is on the former.
Hey guys another with the "dead board after powering down" joins the party....
Purchased a Gigabyte Aorus Master X570 (1.1) shipped with F11 BIOS on the 10th August worked flawlessly, updated the BIOS as the versions were released and on the 10th of October (exactly 2 months) with BIOS F30 I...
