Just to add, if you re-bind the controller in Big Picture mode, and add the Primary action (A button) to the left stick click, it won't press the button twice.
Everything is working great and this is a damn fine controller!
I went out and grabbed a DS4 controller tonight and have it working pretty well so far. The only problem I'm having is it seems to press the button twice when in Steam Big Picture mode.
I installed a plugin that lets the touchpad work like a mouse, and so far, I'm very impressed. Here's a link...
Could be the power supply. I'd try doing SMC reset (depending on the year, there are 1 or 2 tiny press switches)
Check the diagnostic LEDs and see if they're lighting up properly while the power is on.
If you remove all the RAM and turn it on, does it also shut down?
Could also be a bad...
Thanks for the link. I didn't see that part on the recommended steps. I just found a bunch of forum wars where people were saying X Y and Z. Usually, i'll get a straight answer here, so that's why I asked. It's been a few years since I've built a gaming rig and things have changed considerably...
I built my gaming rig a few months ago and am still using the drivers that I first installed (I believe CAT 11.4). If I want to go to the latest version is it ok to install over the older drivers, or is it preferable to completely remove the old drivers and install clean?
Just more or less...
I was under the impression that distilled water isn't 100% non-conductive and either way, it will eventually become conductive as ions transfer into it from running through your loop. I bought some bi-distilled "non-conductive WC water" crap and read later that it's overpriced and doesn't do...
Yeah i'm thinking i'm pretty much sold on another 6970. Deciding if I should get another Sapphire or go with an XFX since they have a lifetime warranty. I should probably match even though it's most likely unnecessary... they're both based on reference boards.
True, 3 6970's would offer better performance, but the heat and power consumption would be pretty nuts! I may just get another 6970 for now and see if that holds me over. The single 6970 is a very nice card, but I want to be able to pump EVERYTHING up as high as it will go. That's why we're all...
Yeah I should have went with a 6990 first, then a 6970 if I wanted Tri Fire... I should have gone your route... They're still out of stock like everywhere. I did a trial for ShopRunner so I could get free shipping and was hoping to cancel it before the 30 day trial. It's a good service, but I...
Tri fire is probably overkill for what i'm running, but it's been a very long time since i've been able to get a gaming rig, so I wanted to go balls to the wall. I sold my Mac Pro since I haven't had a lot of free time to take full advantage of it. I used the money towards my rig. So far, I love...
I have a similar setup as Deltief. I ended up getting the Asrock fatal1ty mobo, i7 2600k, Gskill ripjaws@1866, Antec 1200watt High current pro PS, and a single Sapphire 6970. I'm on a 24" samsung 1920x1080 monitor. I'm playing Crysis with everything maxed and only 2xAA and Im getting between...
When I built my new gaming rig, I decided to just get a 6970 and left the option open to get another card down the line. Now that i'm deciding to go all out and get a 6990 so I can TriFire, i'm not finding them anywhere!
2 weeks ago, Newegg had about 8 cards to choose from. Yesterday I looked...
So it's been a long, long time since I've built a PC.. like 3+ years.
I just ordered a P67 mobo with an i7 2600K processor setup and this time i'm going to jump into watercooling.
I set up an XSPC Rasa RS240 kit and it's currently running a leak test while I finish building my rig.
My...
I too, am wondering between these 2 cooling options. I'm a little worried because there are a LOT of 1 star reviews on Newegg with the H50 pumps breaking and the liquid leaking; trashing mobos and GPUs.
You'd hope that people who pirate software all the time would be cautious of viruses and spyware in the first place... but then again, they probably wouldn't be using torrents.
I have Sonic Adventure for Dreamcast. I couldn't get past the awful voice acting and cheezy dialogue that made no sense. I just want a Sonic game. I want to run around, have fun, and collect rings. That's what made the originals so much fun. I can pick up any of the original Sonic games and play...
I wouldn't doubt it. A friend of mine had a horrid time buying cart based games on Ebay because a lot of them were counterfeit and either didn't work or gave him problems. He only buys disc games on Ebay now.
Great read, thanks! And yes, why the hell don't they make a 1080p, beautiful, colorful 2D Sonic game instead of all this 3D garbage they've been releasing for the last decade?
Oh and let's make this wonderful 2D game just Sonic... maybe Tails, but none of those other awful characters.
Do NOT follow that youtube video... you will get a RROD very soon afterwords. Not only does he do an awfully sloppy job with this mod (that arctic silver job makes me shudder), but he's attaching the heatsinks back to the board again.. this is part of the problem that the 360 has in the first...
What don't you like in the Windows version? I'm running it in Vista at work and it seems pretty decent. I like how they kept the Windows look to it unlike the awful Safari 3 for windows. That was bad.
I just installed the Safari 4 Beta, and i'm pretty impressed. I love the Top Pages option and being able to browse your history in CoverFlow. Cool stuff! Anyone else tried it? Thoughts?
Yeah lots of people on craigslist.. a lot of the PSP community forums have a list of people in different areas that can do pandora downgrades. AFAIK the 3000 series can't be hacked like the 1000 and 2000 series, but I could be wrong.
First, i'd try resetting it to factory settings. Then I would get a pandora battery and try running it with despertar del cementerio and see if you can reinstall the firmware.
Worked great for me. I backed up my profile and library first just incase, but everything went great. Just for giggles, I even tried an "archive and install" option on an extra powerbook at work and that went surprisingly smooth as well.
Everything i'm reading says you get a card that has a code and you need to register that code on a website. Then when the demo comes out, that code you've validated sends you the email confirmation to download the demo. That's how they did it with the Resistance 2 beta.
Like usual, my local...
I just can't take Metallica seriously after all that Napster stuff and Camp Chaos portraying James Hetfield as a mindless ogre. Hehehe "NAPSTER BAAAAAD"
