My B550 Aorus Pro(v1) is working perfectly, BIOS is F10.

I also have a EVGA Supernova gold 850w, don't think that's what it caused the issue twice, but just to mention it here.

You mean that without a case it was alwas working for you? I think I read here a theory about the case being a problem with this mb? Not sure, anyway, I know is not the perfect solution but if you are tired of dealing with removing the battery, you can use sleep instead of shutdown, at least...

Yes, there were two mornings it played dead on me after using shutdown on Linux the night before. Using sleep, always wakes up, 0 problems.

I have had the issue twice with a B550 Aorus Pro, (works perfectly using sleep though), haven't try last BIOS yet.

At this point who knows but I don't believe is a windows10 thing, as for me happened both times after shutdown using Linux. (I do have Windows10 dual boot though)

Can't say a date, because a lot of nights I just use sleep and it save me from worries, but several times I did use shutdown without any issues either. I'll report here anyway if this "random" issue happens again.

What I meant is the opposite, if not upgrading bios, kept you free of problems for months.

No it is not. I know because I have that same "coil-whining" sound all the time with my motherboard even as I'm writing this. (maybe some LED? but turning off on rgbfusion sadly doesn't fix it)
