I had no problems voting. Some of you just like to complain ;)
Nobody got a five though. There were a couple of really nice builds posted in the forums here, but I guess the owners did not send then to dan for the competition.
I've been looking at zenscreen from Asus.
Was thinking of using it as my main screen for my desktop. It has a gigabyte b250n
Is that possible?
My desktop has a discreet gfx - rx460, so I understand that I won't be able to use the gfx while on usb3.
Its time to replace my iPad mini and MacBook Air.
So I'm thinking a 8" Windows 10 tablet with at least (ordered by importance):
USB type A ports
Video out (any of usual standard)
4gb ram
Core i processor
Keyboard dock
USB Type C
The portability is quite important, thus 8".

I would go for a silverstone SG13 case. It can watercool and even comes in pink if that's her thing.
I maxed out the memory cuz photoshops and tabs use a lot of them. Plus if you want to increase them in the future you have to sell the 2x 8g

I think we can be proud of ourselves for supporting a great idea and its hard working inventor.
As far as Im concerned, there isnt a desktop case that is as perfect as the A4 (though I dont need extreme gfx/overclock/data farm).
There's just the H... XS, but that isnt a product yet. Dan, care to...
yeah :( thing is, you can put more money and get an actual mac, but yo wont get the performance or upgradability.
Still gonna go the more money route though.
Exiciting news. Really hope the next campaign is successful.... even though I'm not in for this cas, mostly cuz its not as portable (see link below) and I already have a small case. But related to the link, if one of the modular top part of the case would include a handle, it would be awesome...
Agree with last two posts.
Engage the community now instead of saying at the end, how you listened to feedback, and other marketing crap.
It requires more of your time, but this is the only few FREE things a start-up has.
I think it will be good to have some kind of cooling post linked in the first post. It may avoid people asking the same question over and over again.
And thanks illram
it would be really helpful if there is a list of the cpu cooling options along with a brief conclusion.
The cooling discussion is so long and took so much time that I cannot remember all of it. And worst it's spread across so many pages (thanks to delivery comments).
if someone has an elephant...
A couple of notes from parts below. Corsair PSU instead of silverstone & you gotta be careful with CPU cooler, there is height restriction with this case.

Went to a LAN party and the case and bag is such an amazing combination.
Where I use to carry a backpack on my back, monitor and keyboard in one hand and case wrapped in DIY washing-line handle in the other hand, I now have everything but monitor on my shoulder and monitor in one hand.

Anyone got this motherboard? Or even saw a review?
It's the only its board with USB 3.1 Gen 2 (if I'm not mistaken)

So here are the pics:
The case next to the bag:
The bag with the padding cut out:
The case inside the bag:
And the final touch, the perfect keyboard that fit perfectly inside the perfect bag that is used to hold the perfect A4 perfectly. Perfect!
Got my case yesterday. I'm supposed to be the second to last to have shipped.
For anyone interested, the lowepro messenger 250 is almost impossible to use unless the inside padding (seperating main compartment and tablet/laptop area) is cut out - But without that, the case fit perfectly inside...
About the fan direction, I see that it is pushing air from the motherboard to heatsink and outside.
I'm no expert, but
Won't the PSU get warm air? (Applicable for Dan's case only)
Being the only fan expelling air, won't the CPU area be the natural exhaust of the case, thus pushing warm air...
You all make very good points, especially about the power of the processor available and noise level - did not think about this before.
Average gamer, yes. But there's still a growing community of ssf enthusiasts gamers, look at the success of n-case and Dan a4. So hopefully stx and mxm...
I got this, hopefully the case will fit nicely when it arrives.

I see a lot of interest on stx, or even itx without gfx. But if we are going small with almost no upgrades, why not the nuc? I think it has a i5 version too, maybe also i7?
So you have fast cpu, fast storage, ram speed isn't that different. Why something bigger?
I'm a backer too, and after so many disappointed orders from OC & CK, I'm so glad I backed the project, and that's me being in the second to last country to ship.
After this round of moaning about who gets their case first, there will be a round of moaning about why stuff in v2 wasn't in v1 in...
