Prices of Radeon RX Vega 56/64 are about to go back up!

And you just explained why it makes perfect sense for AMD to up the prices of their cards wholesale with an intended MSRP of much less profit than Newegg, Amazon et all are used to getting. They have to price themselves out of the dumptruck-to-the-mines market. It's a shit place to be in.

    Some bad news

Oh shit, thanks. Sorry to not want to waste thirty+ minutes watching those videos, but did he measure power consumption? FPS is near identical, I'd be really interested to see what the actual power savings are at that point.

    Some bad news

Funny enough, I haven't found any clock-for-clock 950 to 1050ti comparisons. If I knew I could get enough YouTube views to pay for it, I'd order them and test them myself. It is crazy how low they got the voltages on the 1080 and 1070. 1.05 vs 1.2 on the 980ti, comparing boost volts to boost...

    Some bad news

Not to take away from your overall point, but Pascal and Maxwell is a Vega - Fiji situation itself. Clock for clock, core for core, they're near identical. Maxwell itself even clocked insanely, they didn't really get that much more speed out of Pascal. It just happens that Maxwell was an...

Guys my uncle at Nintendo says the Wii U sucked so Nintendo is going software only.

In what way? Maxwell and Pascal cores perform near identically at the same clocks. It's been tested multiple times.

Or we can finally deal with scalping at a legal level. If that dude went in and bought 200 cases and then held it over the community's head, that should be illegal.

    Vega Rumors

The Crysis thing has been debated ad-naseum, but if you go digging on the AMD subreddit, you can find a curious case that hints at tesselation working even when it should be culled. The user is playing Crysis 2 looking at a door. All you can see is the door and some of the frame around it...

    Vega Rumors

That's with vsync on. https://www.ragequitters.co.uk/benq-xl2730w-input-lag-freesync/ and disagree. Excuse the Linus! But also I personally always see stutter or screen-tearing, it drove me nuts in my early days of building PC's in the mid 2000's, so when g-sync and freesync were announced I...

    Vega Rumors

Can't say I've ever seen proof of input lag with freesync or gsync on, and I've done plenty of searching. I've seen evidence to the contrary, though. He actually predicted that Vega would perform like this months ago, and that AMD had no answer to the 1080ti. He's honestly one of the most...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Finally got my NCase a few days ago after waiting too long because i cheaped out on shipping. I stupidly didn't double check heights on the Phanteks- PH-TC14CS I bought, and found it too tall to use even without the hard drive cage. It'll fit fine with a slim 140mm, any suggestions on good ones?
