Building a new budget PC for my 68 year old dad. He browses the web and uses photoshop to clean up pictures of his grandkids. That's about it. 1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc Web browsing, Photoshop limited to minor modifications like cleaning up...

I'm planning on parting out a few things and find I have absolutely no anti static bags. I'll pay a reasonable amount for the following. Looked around and can't find anywhere that I can buy a small amount, only like eleventy of each. 2 mobo bags 2 graphics card sized bags (bigger ones)...

Thanks guys. I'll poke through and get him something ordered tomorrow. This will be his first ever real computer, so I'm all about stability as I don't want to be tech support.

I'm helping a friend put together a list for a new SW:TOR machine, and realize I haven't kept up with stuff for a year or two, so I'm useless. 1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc Playing SW:TOR. Some surfing, email. No other games. 2) What's your...

I've got a Dell Latitude D430. No matter what I do, the power settings keep reverting to some other default that isn't what I want. It even overwrites the standard quicksets with this stuff, and sets it to standby on closing lid, etc. I've called Dell, who had me update the Bios, which didn't...

Have an extra power supply here: Antec, 380W, truepower. Model True380S. It works perfectly fine, but I needed a bigger power supply for my 6 hard drives. Looking to get $32 shipped for it. Heatware under dartagnan. PM if you have any questions.

I have a few free things to give away to local DFW people. I don't want to have to pack these up to ship them out, but I will if you're willing to pay packing materials and shipping I'll gladly ship them. 19" HP CRT monitor - works fine, I have no room or need for it. Antec SX1040 case...

You guys open for any addl players? I live in Chitown but don't have anybody to LAN with.

Sonata come with the power supply? If so, I'll take it.

The X2 deal looks smoking hot, even if the mobo isn't so great. Just sell that puppy on eBay and buy a better one to replace it.

Some of my buddies and I are having a LAN on Oct 8th - 9th in Springfield, IL, as a general fun way to spend a 24-36 hour period. Not sure of the location yet, we have a couple conference type places in mind. Right now there's only about 10-15 people coming - but we'd like to have more random...
