I definitely agree an SSD would be a big one -- then use the HDD as storage/back up drive. A budget for the GPU would help.

More screens typically requires more VRAM, so I'd aim for 4GB if you're trying to futureproof a little.

I'd second Unigine Heaven. Personally, I'd stay away from Furmark -- just tries to get the GPU to burn up.
