Micron Cuts DRAM and NAND Flash Output as ASP Falters

How is it illegal? I'm not getting that part. If profits go down on an item, dialing back on production makes sense. I do understand price manipulation can be a crime, but it does not have to be.

Linux Gaming Across 9 Distros [Review in Progress]

Winetricks works everywhere. I have Stalker running as DX10. I can do more but its does not really work that well much above for Shadow. Call Of Pripyat may benefit from DX12. In Slackware64 14.2 where it run really well.

"Uncharted" Creative Director: AAA Development "Just Doesn't Feel Sustainable"

It appears AAA games are in trouble. Bethesda rolls out a really great game, with attendant Bethesda bugs and gets shit on by everyone. A game you buy once and will be updated with DLC and other content as long as people play it. The only money they get after that is voluntary and is for...

Volvo to Impose 112 MPH Speed Limit on All New Cars from 2020

A new Ford is about $4000 for the software subscription deal that allows control. That's why most people buy a chip from someone who has made that deal. ;)

Volvo to Impose 112 MPH Speed Limit on All New Cars from 2020

Kids these days. There is a rather huge difference between the two. My 69 Cutlass with a 502 crate motor and a tall rear end would go 160 but it was terrifying. About 140 was reasonable and she saw that many times. I could have put a small wedge on the trunk and a damn under the front and made...

The Biggest Problem with Triple-A, Open-World Games: "They're Boring as Hell"

This is where Bethesda stepped up and gave us Fallout 76. Everyone shit on it because it was not like the old ones. After 500 hours and 160 levels across 3 chars the game is opening up and I play every day for a few hours. Its not at all boring. All open world events run themselves and the howls...

Linux Gaming Is on a Life-Support System Called Steam

I have been using Linux for 20 years and I use it because it does what I tell it to. Its a bit like Stalker its probably too hard for you. ;) So I use it because its great. Why would I care what other people do with it? It'll do almost any damn thing you want, Bethesda games still elude me but...

Obsidian Talks About the Style and Setting of The Outer Worlds

I did get a serious reward last night after an amazing series of events that could only happen in Fallout 76. I picked up a very good Legendary for cheap, a level 50 All Rise at a bot vendor, someone sold it to him to get rid of it. The quest I was going to do because the end is fun had this...

LOL. I don't do quests. Well sometimes if it fits my purpose. I play for the fighting not rewards. Never much cared about that. I hunt and kill Scorchbeasts. It is my purpose now and its just fun. Did 3 yesterday, 2 ran and hid in their Fissure. This was the last:

At this point, about 550 hours for me the game, Fallout 76 is just great. I usually start to burn out with that many hours but not in this game. I have lots to do and although my char is pretty strong there's lots more to try. Its by far the best Fallout made to date, and I have played all...

The P30 Pro, following up on last years P20, the world's best phone, is just over $700 US. I dunno what to say, I'll probably get one, the camera is pretty nice. Too bad about your strange 'the sky is falling' national breakdown, as I don't think you can have one in America. ;)
