Actually I’m one of those who gets suckered into buying the yearly CoD games. Vanguard was the last CoD I played until I sold my PC. I remember walking into BB and bought a GTX 1080 FE in 2017 for $550. Best money I ever spent on a videocard. The most I ever spent on a videocard was $750 for a...
Sold my gaming PC with a 3800x and a GTX 1080 back in 2022. With all the money I saved in the last 3 years not buying anything PC related, I can play the waiting game for a few more years and see what next gen nVidia and AMD has to offer. Sorry for those who want to upgrade but can’t do to...
I like Watching HWUB videos when Steve does the videos. He just seems like he has more knowledge of what’s going on. But that other guy, I forgot his name is just boring to watch. I literally skip any videos that wasn’t done with Steve as the speaker.
I had the most fun playing Quake 3 Arena back in the day. I first played it online on the Dreamcast in 2000 and then playing it on the PC when the Clan I was in all switched over in 2002. It was because of that game that made me switch entirely over to PC gaming. I’ve never had the thrill and...
I have a $1500 budget for a new gaming pc build. I sold my Old Gaming PC back in 2022.
Specs were:
3800x
MSI B350 Tomahawk
16GB DDR4
GTX 1080 FE
Thermaltake 750w PSU
27” 1440p 165 hz HP Omen GSYNC
I kept the Monitor. I mainly just play the yearly releases of Call of Duty. Mouse and KB is not...
Damn I’ve never seen a Walmart sell high end videocards like that before. Come to think of it the last time I saw a videocard sold at Walmart was like 20 years ago and it was a GeForce FX5200 😂.
Edit: I live in Charlotte, NC. Been here since 2002.
Damn the last time I splurge on a GPU was back in 2017. Went to Best Buy and grabbed a GTX 1080 FE for $499. Held onto it until I sold my entire setup in 2022. No interest in gaming since then. But I’ve had the itch to rebuild a gaming PC with all these new CPUs and GPUs that’s been coming...
AMD should come in swinging and price the 9070XT at $399 and 9070 at $329. That should shake up the GPU battles in the “mid range” class but we all know that’s not gonna happen. They’ll just undercut nVidia by a few bucks and hope brand loyalty will save the day 🤪.
What’s with the stupid naming scheme AMD is doing with this series of cards. They are betting on that the average consumer is dumb enough to choose the card with the larger number and should ignore the 5000 series altogether 😂.
I’m wouldn’t be surprised if nVidia has their people scouring tech forums and read these posts seeing that if they price their flagship gaming GPU at $2500 people will pay. They’ll just tack on an extra $100 because whoever can afford $2500 can easily fork out another $100 🤪.
From the top of my head here’s my list of videocards ive had.
GeForce FX5200
ATi 9800 Pro
ATi X800 Pro
ATi X1800 XL
GeForce 8800 GTS 320mb (G80)
GeForce 8800 GTS 512mb (G92)
AMD HD 6950
GeForce GTX 770
AMD HD 7950
GeForce GTX 780 Ti
GeForce GTX 1080
I quit gaming back in 2022 to pursue...
I can’t seem to finish any of the GN videos because of the way the host speaks. There’s something about his voice. I get bored listening to the guy. I can’t explain it but it sounds as if he’s closing his throat when he speaks and it sounds very scratchy like he always has a sore throat or...
Does D4 ever go on sale? I can’t stomache spending $70 on it when I just bought a laptop with a Ryzen 5 6600H 16GB Ram RTX 3050 with a 1080p 120hz screen for an incredible price of $200. With these specs will Diablo4 run ok?
Tbh I don’t remember if I had any problems but I do remember playing HL2 and Counter Strike Source and had a blast. And I remember getting a higher score on a 3DMark benchmark ( cant remember which one tho, all I remember was a female with a big emphasis on her hair and I think she was holding a...
I’m not trying to be that guy but is this some sort of flex? I’m pretty sure you’ve read reviews and seen comparisons on how the 4090 performs against other cards. There’s no way you went into buying the card blindly.
I’ll start. I’ve always hated desert areas and snowy mountain areas in video games. They seem too bland and not very exciting to me. I’m more of a lush forest with wildlife and rivers type of person.
I bought an Evga GTX 980Ti Classified locally for $200. I sold my GTX 1080 FE a month ago for $450 due to needing the money. I don’t game much besides playing CoD Cold War . Just got Vanguard but I can’t seem to fix the stupid Vivacious error.
I’ve tried the scan/repair, deleting the folder in Documents and reinstalling, resetting my router but nothing seems to work. I’m on a wireless connection so it’s impossible for me to do a direct connection from the modem to PC. I read it’s a wireless issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Nope at this point I’m gonna hold out for next Gen. My 1080FE is chugging just fine in the game I play which is CoD Cold War. Everything turned down to the lowest setting.
