Yes that mobo doesn't support cpu's with a apu built in. The mobo has the graphics chip already on the board.

What color are the heatsinks on the board? If they are orange it will support all Phenom II x6's. If they are gold it will only support the 95 watt x6's.

The 1.1 and 4.0 boards are the best with the 4.0 being the top one. I have both revisions and they work flawlessly. The issues I have heard of manly pertain to the 3.0 boards.

There is a way to flash back to an older bios. You'll need to run an older flash program. Just keep trying one step older to you find one that will let you flash it. I had a A8n micro board that went bios bonky. This is how I got it straightened out.
