Nope, I like my desk :)
Had it for like five years now, it's very functional and easy to move if I need access to the window behind it LOL :D
Very sturdy!
How Much Weight Can My Folding Table Hold?
I agree. People spend $5000 USD on a DAC that sounds a tiny bit better than one for $1000 and nobody's complaining about this on audiophile forums.
This card has a measurable 30% increase in performance for a 70% more money. GTX 1080 is 30% faster than GTX 1070 for 55% more money. That's just...

Eurogamer posted a review today that said the fan gets too loud past 65%. Would it be reasonably safe to say I could expect boost to settle around 1900 MHz with a mild core + RAM OC?
I would like to keep fan noise reasonable and I have two slots separating the cards...
Interesting points. If they sold it at the usual Canadian online retailers and had custom models, I'd be OK to get a pair for $1200 USD each.
Buying from nvidia.com I have to pay an extra 9.5% tax, but my main issue is the cooler. I'm really enjoying the silent open-air cooler on my custom GTX...
I thought about that, but I was afraid it might break my Win10 bootloader. I'm gonna try EasyBCD first, then image and try using repair on boot. Thanks!
Hi guys,
I have a Win 10 Pro install on an SSD and I'd like to add an image of my Win8 install so that I can dual boot Win10 and Win8 from the same SSD.
I resized the Win10 partition and copied the Win8 partition so it looks like this:
The SSD is GPT and the EFI partition belongs to Win10...
Hi guys,
My Gigabyte GA-X99-SOC Champion broke and I replaced it with an ASRock X99 OC Formula/3.1.
I used to have my 5960X @ 4400 1.20v, uncore @ 4100 1.20v, RAM @ 2666 1.35v. Now everything is at stock clocks and my games feel like they're running smoother.
I don't mean they are more...
6 months is pretty standard IMO. If you keep on waiting then you'll never upgrade since the next refresh is usually only 6 months away.
Let's see: I knew that nVidia will probably release a refresh for the Titan that will be available around Christmas. Did this stop me from buying them in...
Fuck yeah! Good to see that nVidia is back!
I'm not going to drop the Titans of course, no reason. Hopefully Maxwell will keep the performance and price trend for my next build.
It wasn't sarcasm. I finished Tomb Raider maxed out with FXAA. It ran at 60 fps most of the time, dipping to ~50 fps in certain areas.
BF3 maxed out? What fps? I'm not talking about medium settings here.
Then again, why would you listen to someone who's running this setup.
It's perfect. I...
Thanks!
I played Just Cause 2, you're right, it's awesome in triple-wide. I didn't like the game that much, though. Tried Grid yesterday, works well, even the HUD is centered unlike Dirt 3.
ME3 is very poor in Surround.
I think FO:NV had some sort of mouse issues and input lag.
Hi guys,
I posted this on WSGF today, but unfortunately that forum doesn't look very active and I'm really itching to play some games in Surround, so I'm posting it on my beloved [H] :)
Do you have any suggestions for good FPS, RPG, RTS, TBS, TBT, or racing games from 2008 to now that work...
Same story as GTX 670 vs GTX 680. I regretted getting the GTX 670s, I don't regret getting the Titans two months ago. 6 GB is win for pushing 11 MP and if you want to wait, keep waiting.
FWIW at 7680x1440 my score in Heaven 3.0 went from 30 to 60 fps (4x Titans vs 4x GTX 670 4GB SC). In games, performance basically went from poor to excellent. I actually play now. For example Tomb Raider is steady 60 fps most of the time, maxed out with FXAA.
Nice! I've been thinking about a setup like that if I had a house. Ironically, it would be less demanding that 3x1440p, but I think it would look more impressive. What are you using to hold the screens?
I meant processing power from more SMX units :) We'll see if IB-E shows any gains vs IB, I think I'm OK as far a CPU goes for now with my TIM-replaced IB.
I think that it's difficult to show advantages of 4-way SLI Titans (assuming that the drivers are good for the game that you're playing)...
4-way SLI is going well, no complaints at this point. Just need more raw processing power, otherwise it's great. Hoping this applies to 4-way Titans, too.
