Fellow Canadians, did any of you receive or have you order ship ?
Just received an email from Dell pushing back my delivery back to June. I ordered on March 9th.
Reading all the feedback so far makes me wish I had the monitor in my hands, but oh well.
I play BF4 with mine and I don't feel the input lag myself....having a 980 ti is nice. Most games I'm able to play with all bells and whistles minus msaa which isn`t really needed at that resolution.
You could probably go with normal GTX 980 if you game at that resolution. I went from two R9 290 to an evga 980 ti hydrid and it was definitely worth it for me. I couldn`t stand the heat and noise from the the two r9 290 anymore.
I play bf4 at 4K and I'm able to maintain 60fps at all times. I...
I just installed an evga 980 ti hybrid in my pc last week.
I had the same sounds as the in the video for the first five minutes. Since then, I haven't heard these kind of sounds again.
The radiator should be positioned higher than the card itself, not sure you have it installed in your case.
Remember the last omega drivers ? They were good but nothing earth shattering. The comparisons released by amd were against whql drivers that were several months old.
The last official whql drivers are 15.7.1. We had mutiple betas that improved performance since then. I would bet that when they...
This is probably so they can charge a subscription for game ready drivers down the line.
IE Pay 50$/year for game ready drivers or wait for our quarterly free drivers.
Why give away something for free when you can charge for it ?
I wonder how it's going to work once people start upgrading parts in their PC. In my case, I have the retail version of 8.1. I was able to re-activate by calling Microsoft and activating over the phone once I change my mobo, cpu and ram.
Now that we don't have a key assigned to us, but rather...
Yeah, same issue here.
I even did a clean install of windows. The stuttering in every game is really annoying. Not sure what they did, but crossfire isn't working correctly in this driver
Did you enable hyperkit support in the sata config page ? I was thinking about buying the hyperkit/M.2 version but you got me a little worried this may not work...
You must have done something wrong because I have a regular sata SSD on my X99-A and it works fine.
The samsung and intel nvme drives should work providing you update your bios ( version 1601 and up ). The initial bios did not support nvme drives
Both samsung drives are oem, eventhough the company selling them is saying they're not.
If you're worried about reliability/support, I'd go a "classic" ssd running on a sata interface ( like samsung 850 Pro/850 Evo ). The benches will be lower, but it won't make a difference in real world...
Yes, it would. But, for little more , better performance and cooler running temperature, I would go for the SM951 http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00VELDBJ6/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new
This is normal. In a crossfire setup, the second card shuts down unless it is needed ( even the fans stop spinning ). This is called ULPS.
Windows sees that second audio bus as malfunctioning but it is not.
If you want to get rid of that warning, install MSI afterburner and disable ULPS and...
The TV probably needs an hdmi 2.0 connection to provide 4K@60hz.
The R9-295x2 doesn`t have an hdmi 2.0 connection, only version 1.4. Have you tried 3840X2160 @ 24hz or 30Hz ?
Are you certain about that ? One of the screws on mine has a little sticker on it that says warranty void if removed. There's no way to remove the heatsink/fan without breaking/removing that sticker...
I got the P2715Q and have two R9 290. It is possible to play bf4 at 3840X2160. Everthing is ultra except effects quality which I have turned down to high and disabled MSAA ( you don't need it at that resolution )
99% of of the time, it stays at 60fps or higher
Gaming at 4k is simply...
Received an email indicating that my P2715Q has shipped on Friday. I should receive it Tuesday or Wednesday.
I'll post my impressions once i set it up. :)
Seems interesting. I wonder if it's going to be using the same panel as the P2715Q from Dell ? The specs are slighty different.
It's supposed to be out mid-december in Taiwan, Asia Pacific, and Europe. No word yet on when it will be available for the US
Strange, didn't receive the same email. Maybe I'll get it later...
I was counting this as my christmas gift to myself but didn't expect it to received it this close to christmas.
No, I have the same estimated arrival date. Had a chat yesterday with Dell but they have no information when it will start shipping, only that I should receive it around 12/5.
I ordered on Nov 14.
Thanks, certainly looks promising.
From reading the manual, MST is there so you can chain a secondary monitor using a single dp cable attached to your computer.
Can't wait to receive it ( c'mon dell, ship me my monitor already ! )
Well, at that price and specs, I ordered the P2715Q. I don't mind being a guinea pig.
I had bought a UP2414Q a while ago but returned it due to MST issues( 1/2 screen not displaying ) and also bought/returned the Samsung U28D590D due to its TN color shift.
The BL3201PT & BL3201PH are the same monitors. Just different names for different markets
More information has been posted on this website:

Definitely, using the supplied DP cable and confirmed that the display what at 3840X2160@60hz
There is a sharpness setting but I couldn't get to display perfectly.
As I said, maybe I'm spoiled or too used to IPS monitors...
Back on to the main subject, this monitor...
I bought it yesterday at my local bestbuy and quickly returned it. I've had a multitude of monitors throughout the years, 2407WFP-HC, U2410, U2711 and U213HM
Maybe I've been spoiled but I was expecting better color quality and sharper text. No...
That's weird. I have two msi gaming r9 290 and i usually get around 130fps in 2560X1440 at ultra.
Are you using windows 8/8.1 ? Try unparking your cores if you're using windows 7.
What's your processor ?
Sorry, no suggestion.
I have the same issue. Basicaly, with sync, you get stutter. You turn it off , you get buttery smooth frame rates but tearing.
The only one that doesn't do this for me is the 13.11 whql from guru3d
The audio glitch is no longer present, but the performance issue is still there. If you enable Vsync, you get very poor frame rate.
This is disappointing and I've had enough, I'll sell my 2 R9 290 and go back to nvidia
