Can't speak for Metro but STALKER GAMMA was a smooth gaming experience for me in terms of bugs, or lack thereof for noticeable ones. I would recommend a heavily modded STALKER.

playing or replaying a game like metro or stalker seems like a better plan, games that are legitimately great games

Worth backing when it launches if you like "real" RPGs that aren't dumbed down RPG-lite titles
I think most people will buy it just bc it's Star Wars and bc of the hype. Maybe it'll be good, who knows . Though Ubisoft Is infamous now for their generic open world formula. Some of the people at that studio are wokeaf on their social media, they dislike white men it seems.

I know folks on H tend to favor the triple A big studio games over indie games. But has anyone played this?It looks pretty good good although it's been around in early access for almost a decade which is kind of crazy. Surprised i'm...
Thanks for your perspective. I've never seen RT in action so I have no idea how impressive it is. My situation is that I'm running at 2070 on a 2018 Alienware laptop that I bought used from a member here back in 2019. The laptop has done me well enough over the years and can play inide games...
I've come across some great remixes of music on YouTube, but they all have video. I have saved these video files to my computer and I would like to export them as mp3s with only the audio so I can put them on my old ipod. Can anyone recommend a program that can do this?
I make an exception for RPGS like Disco Elysium and Badlers Gate and games like XCom but otherwise, yes. Especially a game where exploration and gunplay are the majority of the gameplay. First person is much more immersive.
Yeah I can see your pov on that
I like the clunky retro feel of it
I think kater ships offer better cockpits, the starter ship is basically a garbage truck so the horrible cockpit drives that point home
Thread necro
Just bought this for $5 on GOG and i like it. Scratches that Firefly itch. And the cockpits are charmingly clunky.
Anyone who likes cockpit based space combat who didn't try this, I recommend it.

Sounds like this could be awesome. More indication that smaller studios are making much more interesting games than AAA studios.
Most AAA games i see just look like stale conservative rehashed with slightly better graphics. It's much easier to find fresh ideas and creativity in indie to AA games
