Same here 1080Ti + LG34UC88 VRR OK @75Hz without frame skipping or flickering (test carried out with Pendulum, Battlefield V, Wolfenstein New Order, Doom, AC Odyssey.
I can't wait to know that difference :)
Having an LG34UC88 (3440x1440 max 75Hz with freesync enabled) paired to a GTX 980Ti I'm still very doubful purchasing a 1080Ti or the best AIB Vega available.
I'm going to replace my HAF X with the Evolv ATX TG. According to the technical specifications I can install a 280mm rad on top and on front.
The X62 will fit on top ? Is it better to fit it on top or i should install it on front ?
I'm used to Asus mobo, but Sabertooth is very expensive here in Italy. I'm also evaluating the MSI Gaming 7, that matches my colour scheme and it is very similar to the Mpower. I'm checking also Asrock X99X Killer It seems that Asrock has good bios and OC.
Hi Dan,
Thank you for the suggestion.
I've just read your review about the Mpower dtd. May 29th.
The conclusion was "hard to suggest for purchase" and not a must have. Lastest Bios/Software update have changed your thoughts ? Just to avoid to incur in troubles I prefer to raise the budget...
My Asus 290 DCU2 had a slight coil whine. I have solved it setting power phase on extreme (the PSU is a Corsair AX860. Since i prefer a quiet system i do not plan to overclock the vga.
Within next week i have to order a 980ti.
The priority is to get a silent vga (MSI is not available).
According to the reviews both 980ti are silent, but i'm very doubtful about the Gigabyte. Many end users are reporting coil whine.
What's your suggestion ?
