Thanks for the post. Downloading now. The previous ones, I think they were June 4th, messed up the water and some other reflective surfaces in Arkham City for me. Hopefully these fix it.
After the video they posted of the love they're giving the PC version I'll be happy to pre-order. We really just need to get used to these practices. They have to offer any incentive they can to get people to purchase new and not used.
Sorry to hear man. I've got 2x 6950s and the game runs like pure butter for me now with actual CFX scaling. 2048x1152, vsync + triple buffering, everything maxed with 60fps locked. Unfortunately I finished the game twice in its broken state and don't really want to play it anymore.
At launch I...
Cooler Master 212+ is a great cooler. My friend with a nearly identical setup to mine gets almost the exact same temps as my Noctua NH-D14 in a case with worse airflow.
So tried each card in each slot 1 by 1. And I get the artifacts from either card in either slot. Possible Motherboard issue or more likely I damaged both cards at the same time? I've still got the P8P67 Pro with B2 Stepping so I should be able to RMA it with ASUS.
When going between the starry sky background back and forth you can see green blobs appearing in the background. When I stop switching they go away.
Edit: Right above the hooded guys head slightly to the left is an obvious one that goes away when I stop switching.
Setup is in my sig. Running Catalyst 11.6 no CAPs.
I've got two of these cards in crossfire with the extra shaders unlocked. Not a 6970 bios. I ran them at 1.175v / 900 core clock / 1400 memory clock for a couple months without any problems. They are now running at 1.1v / 800 core clock /...
KGC is on purpose lol. It's their new Kentucky Grilled Chicken.
OP: is the return policy really only 15 days? If it is hopefully you get your motherboard soon so you can test it.
Sorry I can't be of help but just wanted to say the same thing happened to me with my XFX 6950's. Changing any setting would result in an instant BSOD on boot. I couldn't figure it out so I'm running the custom ASUS BIOS.
Hopefully someone can chime in and we can make our own.
Flickering should be fixed with that version of CAP. I noticed if I change any graphical settings or resolution the flickering starts. If I reboot and start up the game again the flickering is gone.
Something similar happened to me and it was because I originally had "Windows Boot Manager" as the first boot device. After I selected the HD itself as the first boot drive it worked fine.
Possible to get the HAF X logo in a black and red color scheme like this one? http://hardforum.com/showpost.php?p=1036855502&postcount=5

The only time mine doesn't seem to do it is when I restart from the BIOS. If I reboot from Windows or start up from Shutdown it hangs for about 20-30 seconds before it POSTs. If I'm in UEFI it gets to POST right away.
Yeah, the ridiculous blur and claustrophobic FOV sucks. I'm sure EA is going to blame us PC players if the game bombs too.
They really need to release a single player demo with DX11 and full settings accessible before the game launches. I definitely won't buy without one.
