The touchpad and gone nuts. I can barely type a post without the cursor jumping around in some unpredictable way.
I don't need a new laptop, frankly, but this is driving me nuts. I've always had bad luck with touchpads except on the MBA, but I'm a Windows guy and some I like to use the x220t...
Does anyone know of a low-cost e-sata card that has the port multiplier feature enabled for multiple multi-drive enclosures?
I'd much rather not pay $200 for a single card.
I think it would be nice if we could get some good discussions on the pros / cons of this:

I'm currently running two HTPCs with my media all on my server PC. Just wondering if this would improve my overall experience...
I making a separate thread on this rather than jumping on another thread...
I'm noticing that keyboarding on forums like this one using an android tablet is challenging. On both my nexus 7 and 10 I seem to have problems, struggles, using the built in KB. The cursor likes to jump around a lot...
Just picked one up from BB....after getting it up...it updates to Jelly Bean 4.1.1. However, it still looks like 4.0.3, which is running on my Acer A500. What gives here? Is it wearing a skin?
I didn't realize it users a proprietary connector. Cringe.
Impulse buy not working. :)
Anyone made the leap to Win8 on their Lenovo x220t yet? I'd like to do it, but I don't want to lose anything important, like functionality.
Drivers seem to be collected up here:

i was just about to pay $3 for an app to rotate the home scree on gn7 when a notice about this jb update pops up. luckily, the message mentioned adding the rotate for the home screen! else, i might have paid for a totally useless app. dont know what other goodies are in the update but the...
Anyone using these together to configure the GN7 or is this exclusive useful for just phones?
If you are using, what for? Which app is best for programming? Where to get the best price on the tags?

If it runs PowerPoint, it might work for me.
I recently re-watched ST:TNG and the DS9. I was amazed at how they used tablets on those shows (probably on the original too, but I didn't re-watch those). They called them "Pads" on those shows. They had different sizes too depending upon the application. That time is here now. We can have...
I've seen several showing up for review on CNET, so I'm going to be in the market for one as long as it is
1) under 3 lbs. I need a light machine.
2) has a digitizer pen/screen so I can write on it.
3) Not too expensive. If I have to pay $1200, I'll do without.
Have any dates been formally...
Not saying I'm going to do this...but the MBA is the ONLY laptop whose keyboard I can actually use for extended periods..and the reason is because of the trackpad. For some reason, on every laptop I've had, the cursor would jump all over the place whenever I use the keyboard for extended and...
I've been a PC/Windows guy forever. The iPad was my first, non-iPod, Apple product. Luck smiled on me so I now have this 13-inch Air...I would not have bought it using my own money, but now that I have it I plan to use it.
This OS seems every bit as complex as Windows. I can't seem to get it...
I'm taking possession of a 13-inch MacBook Air today. Luckily, I didn't have to spend my money on it or I would not have bought it, though I do have a particular use for it.
I see lots of people putting these in some kind of case or covering. I assume they are trying to protect the outer body...
I recently got an iPhone 4S. I have noticed that whenever I get an HTML email (and I get a lot of them), the mail app on the iPhone 4S does not show any of the graphics (I get empty blocks instead). However, on my old Droid Incredible and on my iPad 2, I see them just fine. I can't seem...
I got one of these on sale at Amazon.com.
I have it on the sata 3 port on my Asus P8P67-Pro.
The packaging claimed Reads up to 525MB/s and writes up to 500MB/s. 4kb Random write aligned up to 50000 IOPS.
Well, I'm getting nothing like those numbers...
Windows on ARM

Sounds promising.
Anyone have one of these? If I didn't already have two HPTCs I built myself, I'd definitely consider one of these:

I'm going to be upgrading my smartphone soon. My nearly two-year old Droid Incredible still works fine (after a hard reset to solve the low memory problem -- at least temporarily).
I had a blackberry curve before getting the Droid Incredible. I use it now as a alarm clock.
When I get my new...
I ordered this (at a lower price than shown):
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227780
and it came yesterday. Dead as a door knob. I'm RMAing it to newegg and sending it back for replacement today.
I don't have much stuff form OCZ...the item is rated for only 3...
This is distressing:
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/26/business/ieconomy-apples-ipad-and-the-human-costs-for-workers-in-china.html?pagewanted=1&_r=2
and it's by no means just limited to Apple, either. But they are the premiere beneficiary in terms of profits. And I don't want to feel...
I want one of those small thin units rather than something in a hulking 5.25-inch external case. I know some need two usb connections or one and a separate power connections. I want it to play blu-rays but write DVD (all kinds). This will move around to my various system. I have a dell DVD...
This thing is a $99 HTPC. I don't like the interface much, but the rest of it seems good.

I have a Dell Latitude XT, with is a Windows Tablet. The processor is kinda slow these days and it uses a ZIF pata hard drive, which are getting hard to find.
I need to replace this with a similar tablet laptop that runs Windows 7. I need Windows 7 because I need to run tools like Matlab and...
I only watch my HPTCs during the evenings, mostly. Do you guys allow yours to sleep and if so, do you have problems getting the signal detected through your AV receiver when it wakes up?
A lot of folks here have suggested using this with WMC. I thought I would give it a look-see.
I already have about 7 TB of ripped BD and DVDs. Will this program make it easy to import these movies into it? It seems to have it's own collection management system built in...and is wanting...
I want to use this:
http://www.amazon.com/Syba-SD-U1IRDA-NM-Fast-Infra-Red-Adapter/dp/B000JPGQ4U/ref=lh_ni_t
and my Harmony one to make a WMC Remote. I would just program the Harmony to be one of the common WMC remotes on the market.
Will this work?
I have two HTPC. HTPC1 I have had for a couple of months, perhaps. HTPC2 I just put together earlier this week. HTPC1 has a C2D E6850@3GHz with a AMD 6570. HTPC2 has an i3-2100 @3GHz with Intel HD 2000 Graphics. HTPC1 has one of my older PSU, but it was a nicer one (can remember which it is...
