New screen for gaming + TV shows

Thanks for the suggestion! If I was to get a 27-32" monitor (I'd use for gaming and watching TV shows), what would be a good buy for £200-300? Thanks again :)

New screen for gaming + TV shows

I've been using a Sony Bravia KDL32U3000U HDTV for the last 5 years but its time I moved on from 1366x768 resolution to 1920x1080 or higher. I can't say I've noticed any motion blur, lag input etc while gaming but then again maybe I haven't seen what a decent monitor has to offer. What I am...

OK Guru's, how do I delete this folder?

Map the drive then run from elevated cmd: rmdir /s foldername If the folder name has a space in it, then change foldername to "folder name" with the quotes around the name.

    Need a new audio system

I suspected that something was broken. Are these speakers any good for my needs? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Multimedia-Theatre-Speaker-System/dp/B0006LCMK4/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top or http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Z506-Surround-Sound-Speakers/dp/B003WJR482/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top...

    Need a new audio system

I will add that some of the speakers I currently have in the 5.1 setup sound distorted and quiet which is why I'm looking to replace them. I assume they are "broken" but have no way to test this theory.

    Need a new audio system

Hey I currently have a Logitech audio system 5.1 attached to my PC (not at home so not sure of exact model) but it hasn't worked properly for ages so I'm after a new audio system. I intend to use it for gaming / tv shows and have around £100 to spend on a system. I'm no audiophile so I'm...

Going to buy this soon; anyone have any comments? My CPU + mobo support VT-X and DEP so they should be compatible.

Setting up a Virtual Network for Learning Purposes

Thanks for your input guys. Looks like I'll have to use a build similar to yours, Surreal as 2x8gb memory sitcks costs an absolute fortune compared to 4x4gb (UK prices)! Anyone else have anything else to mention about what hardware to select?

Setting up a Virtual Network for Learning Purposes

Ah ok, I think I'll try both ESXi and Hyper-V and see which one I like best. Will the hardware in my original post (edited in as of a few minutes ago) work ok for what I want it to do? I believe VT-X is supported by Intels i5-2500 processor. Or is it better to go with something like on that...

Setting up a Virtual Network for Learning Purposes

Hi guys 1) I'm looking into setting up a virtual network to learn the ins and outs of server 2003/2008, IIS, Exchange, WSUS etc etc. Going to finally put my Technet subsription to good use! Is virtualbox the best software to use to acheive this? Or is there something better? Edit going to play...
