How do you all feel about Hybrid drives compared to the other options? I have to much data for pure SSD. But i could do data HDDs and OS on SSD. But that sounds like a hassle long term, so I'm debating SSD as a cache, or just mirrored Hybrids. Thanks for your thoughts!

Yes, I would agree they need to add a LOT of the meta-game (non pew pew) content back. PS1 was just so epic ... for noobs too even, but had that layer for people who like to get deep.

I've had the HP for a year now, and this weekend played some games on the Dell. I prefer the HP in my case, which is always using DVI @ 2560x1600 for gaming / work. If all you care about is 'computer' use get the HP IMO. (and it's a little cheaper usually) The Dell is a great monitor as well...

1920x1080 is too small IMO. Never decrease in resolution, especially if you 'use' your computer for more than browsing. Programming on 1080p == suicide

The game is polished and fun. It does seem to lack some depth, and the console UI is annoying. (not a fan of fonts made for TVs on my 2560x1600)

I'm pretty picky about dispay quality, and haven't noticed blur on my zr30w. I've never really had a monitor I had lag/blur issues with though ... so YMMV.

DVI-D cable included. Looks epic. What is the max resolution for a DP connection? I'm not a fan of the thick DVI cable, but my 580 has DVI, and the HDMI is already used for my TV. Hook it up once and forget.

I have the ZR30W, love it. Great for gaming, programming, browsing etc. Do it. Don't think, just buy. 27" 16:9 isn't big enough.

16:9 is painful for a developer such as myself. It's OK for gaming. I'll stick with 16:10 for as long as possible, I like screen space, and will pay extra for it.

I have one, use it for gaming primarily; fantastic monitor, fantastic price. Play all sorts of games. FPS -> MMO -> RTS I detect no problems, hear no buzzing sound, and is dramatically superior to the 2410 sitting next to it. Love.

Wow, I'm glad I didn't buy a new CPU. E6750 @ 3.2 Ghz + 470 gtx I'm chewing up games and spitting them out, I didn't expect my FPS in games like Mafia 2/Just Cause 2 to be playable; but I'm hovering around 40 fps for each. Guess I won't need an upgrade anytime soon ... maybe for Crysis 2.

I got it, and it is amazing. The screenshot above kind of sucks, the "snippett" tool degrades the color significantly. Cost Central was really fast, no dead/stuck pixels; new video card runs like a dream even with my e6750. This monitor is the best tech purchase I have ever made.

OC'd at 3.2 ghz (up from 2.66), 15 min into an Orthos run without any errors. SC2 will need to run, if not more upgrades will be required. Do you have a 470gtx at that rez?
