I went though the same with my Dell panels. I had two replacements, with only one having a proper tone. I quite liked the panel that did display colors properly, so I left it off to the parents since they needed a new monitor.
Makes sense.
On that note, I would like to say that I've received and setup my Acer K272HULs. I'm quite happy with the color reproduction of the AHVA panels, as both have turned out to be very good out of the box for day-to-day use (with a little adjustment).
I wish it was within my budget ArtMarshall. Unfortunately, I don't have any use at this time for professional level displays. I need something that will perform but is also economic and has every day usability for almost all purposes.
Thank you. I'll look through the thread. The centers did report similar measurements, but the uniformity that I am after did not exist.
I just ordered a pair of Acer K272HULs from Amazon. The general perception is that they have great colors out of the box with the AHVA panels.
I'll report...
I've had a spyder4pro for a while now. Chromaticity was the least of my problems.
I cannot get matching white points or gray scales regardless of what I do to the ASUS PA248Q monitors (I've had 5 of those now)
I dismissed the Dell units very quickly (they each had a very distinctive shade of...
I'll try to keep this short.
The last 3 months have been a complete pain in the ass for me. I've been through 7 different monitors, two different monitor brands, and two different professional calibration tools.
I cannot seem to get monitors that match in color reproduction, brightness...
Plenty of foreign reviews here: http://www.overclock.net/t/1318860/various-amd-piledriver-fx-series-cpu-reviews
It's trading blows with the 3570K and the 3770K for $100 less than you'd pay for the i7...those are stock clocks, by the way.
With most of the reviews that are out at the moment, some have the chip doing 5.0Ghz on air, stable @ 1.368v. Take it for what it's worth.
NDA ends at midnight.
Get them before they're gone. Bulldozer stock lasted less than 3 hours if I remember right.

It's a bit of both to be honest...
Speaking of which, I just got mine...
It's weird.
I haven't typed in keyboard like this in years. It's certainly an interesting feel.
The one thing that is already bothering me is the lack of wrist rest, my wrist is already feeling it and I've only spent a...
I hear ya. I'm pretty much taking a shot in the dark buying the keyboard, we'll see how things turn out.
I'm looking forward to getting my hands on it tomorrow. I'm almost complete sure it'll be a huge upgrade over my cheap-o Cyborg key as I'm not enjoying coding with these dome keys.
Signed up. After all, I'm only taking crap classes at my current university.
If I'm going to spend time learning something, it might as well be worthwhile.
I ran to best buy today and tried the arrow pad on the Blackwidow (through the box even, they didn't have a display unit), I was about to bite the bullet at the listed $104+tax after much strafing back and forth around the store...until I ran up to the check out counter only to find out it was...
Sounds like you need to wipe your drivers and install the latest version. Once you've done that, use MSi afterburner to make sure the card is set at the right clocks with the right voltage.
I wish I was able to afford that, haha. I just lost my job unfortunately and are trying to put money into starting a small business...this is kind of my last PC-Gaming delight before the money starts running dry.
The lack of in-game VoIP single-handedly killed this game. There is literally zero teamwork.
I really miss the days of Battlefield 2, I made a LOT of good gaming friends through the game.
I was hoping to pick up 2012 for around $20, but it seems like it goes for about 30-40. Cities XL 11 seems to be an option at $20...time to read up and see what I would miss out on.
Is this game any good as a replacement for Sim City until February? SimCity 4 has become stale for me as of late...after all, I've been playing it for 7 years now.
I'm still stuck deciding between MX Brown Cherry and MX Blue Cherry keyboards. I'm very interested in the CM QuickFire but I still want more feedback before making a choice.
Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated :D
Ok...I'm running out of patience with this and Google has been absolute useless.
This pathetic and from my understanding, it is an ongoing issue with the card being forced to run at full 3D clocks while using a second monitor, that has yet to be resolved. Why the hell doesn't AMD solve this...
Coming in this Sunday from newegg, any info you guys can give me as to how far you've been able to push it and how dramatic the temperatures changes have been?
