Yes, my stock q8300 is bottlenecking my 7850. Too bad I can't my overclock my cpu because computer is a prebuilt. I'll probably upgrade soon to a 3570k.

LOL, nvidia has nothing on the 7850. 660 not for another 6 months. $200 would be great but not gonna happen though. I see 7870 seeing a price drop next. At $350 it is way overpriced. If nvidia wants to go to price war against the 7850, they need price drops on 560 ti 448's and 570's.

I actually had ordered the evga 560 448 core for $191 after rebate at amazon. Cancelled it because wanted to wait and see what happens and wasn't sure if vram was enough. Maybe I should have went for that deal.

Buying a product with the intention of returning at a later date is shady and raises prices for everybody. Makes return policies more strict too. This kind of crap really grinds my gears.

Never had a sapphire before, but I recently ordered a sapphire 7850 despite a low 2 year warranty. Asus, MSI, Gigabyte offer 3 year I believe. XFX offers lifetime for certain models.

Get a 7850 for $250, most overclock fairly well. I would not get 570 old tech, less vram, less efficient. A 7870 at $300 is not really worth waiting for, even if it drops to that price, because that is what it should have been priced at. Overclocked 7870 vs overclocked 7850 is not much...

Sounds like some type of memory leak. Could be that the game needs to be patched too.

I find it easy to believe looking at how much stock they have of 570's and 560 448's all over the place, it sure isn't coming soon like not within a month for sure.

You need to set the realtek sound output to default and advanced settings on dolby digital live. This will convert all audio to dolby digital. I am connected to my monitor with dvi. I had to duplicate video output to get hdmi audio sound working. Using 9800gt and denon avr-1712

Yeah, it's worth a shot to still order since amazon is still letting you buy and since this deal is pretty nice. I wasn't even planning on getting this, but price was too good.

Fermi inventory needs to deplete and kepler availability needs to increase. Midrange definitely needs some more pressure from nvidia to force amd price drops. I wonder how well the 7850/7870's are actually selling, doesn't seem that well. High prices hurt company image as it can be seen as...

Finally some more rumors. They help somewhat with waiting, i'll probably be picking up a 670 ti if they do well in reviews. If it performs better than a 7950 at $350, then that would be great.

The sapphire looks nice but a nontransferable 2 year warranty kind of sucks when compared to some competitors.
