Who cares about the calibration with HW calibrator - my HP ZR24w looks great without calibrated black levels. I can notice the difference in the movies but I can also turn on dynamic contrast and it gets fine. I rather gave up some of my blacks than having to deal with all of the other issues...

Somebody wrote about eyeburn on this ZR24w... I have it also but I am alergic to some trees that are blossoming in this period in my country so I can't blame the monitor. Maybe you should check your body for alergies ;)

HP ZR24w is perfection for 370€ :) This screen looks much better in when sitting in front of it than looking at the picture in this thread. If I had 15mm lens maybe than it would look more realistic...
