I have 1 5970 and 2 5870's in quadfire right now.. working great for benchmarks so far other then the fact that you cant set the 5970 clock speed over 1000.. :( bummer..
Thanks again everyone for checking it out!! I'm throwing in some more quadfire benchies as well as a few other games.. and a comparison of leaked benchmarks from the 5970 and 5870 in crossfire x.. Armed assault is definitely on the list. cheers!! -Beaux
No problem man!! Happy that you liked the video! :) Seems that tri fire is definitely the ultimate.. A few driver tweaks and we are off.. Nvidia wont be doing anything until 2010 now, so there is plenty of time for that :)
Here's the eyefinity benchmarks.. I used from no aa up to 16.. depended on whether eyefinity worked with it or not.. Cheers!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhAqTecVXbE
Will do.. You'll be running at 5040 x 1050 res. You should see even better numbers.. I'll do some statistics using eyefinity in different resolutions so you can get a better idea of the hardware/monitor setups... Thanks so much!! :)
That is awesome you mentioned that deadskull.. I was just experimenting with a massive overclocked i7 and dual 5870's overclocked to the sh*ter.. At 2048 x 1152 res with 4xaa and everything maxed it runs like a dream.. Feels like watching a movie.. so realistic and smooth.. I'll try to get a...
I'll do a high res bench for you guys as well across four cards to see if it scales better, but from what I remember, It was about the same as using 1080p res.. Thanks so much for the input!! : )
I have the extreme numbers as well.. Was just trying to get an overall user point of view.. So many people with 1680 x 1050 monitors still that I did'nt want to outcast everyone.. I do have a high res monitor for extreme benches, which I'll post soon.. I really just wanted everyone to see the...
Thanks a bunch! Did you see the eyefinity bench.. at 6144 x 1152
That is a high res, but even using one gpu for dx11 at 17fps, still not bad for that resolution.. as where default settings of 1024 x 768 were 130 fps
I hope I'm not that guy.. Just want to show you guys the stats so you can decide for yourself what to get.. I'm just the puppet.. I'll get rid of these soon.. Just want to help my brothers in hardware out. :)
I also have 6gb ddr3 dominator 2000mhz. Runs amazing on the supercomputer mobo..
I can honestly say though I love the way the classified looked in my case.. On the other hand I've never been able to run a processor stable at 4.40ghz on a mobo at 32 celcius using 1.416 volts.
:)
I owned the evga classified motherboard and thought it was awesome. But to be honest, I have my i7 975 with the supercomputer mobo and I've been more than amazed. My score in crysis,3dvantage and everything went way up. I purchased it thinking it was'nt going to be that much different but...
Totally agree with you on that one!! I think if you want smooth gaming all around go for the 3 gtx 280's or 285's. Limited voltage on the 285's without using mods so 280's are still among the best! Especially with the cooling solutions available right now. I just enjoy playing games alot more...
I honestly think both setups are great. but I just recently experimented with the gtx 285 ftw overclocked in tri sli and I believe that is the winner, although if you have a really great water cooling system or liquid nitrogen on your 295's you could handle the competition. Although the best...
I think tri and quad setups run the best with 181.20 or the 182 series. For some reason I had different results in the benchmarks with the new drivers. Hopefully will be sorted out..
But 181.20 ran smooth for me in quad and tri.
Like you said, the gtx 295's are benchmark queens. What I also noticed when running quad sli vs triple sli was smooth gameplay on the tri setup. I felt that with the 181.20 drivers and quad sli every game was smooth except for gta 4. but the framerate seemed to be all over the place with 185.85...
lol!! Thanks! : ) Yeah, Been looking into a 30 Right now I have a 27 and it's pretty good, but the more the better right. What's a good brand name monitor for that kind of setup.
:D Hey everyone. I have been going through this for months now. I love benchmarking and pretty much every game with challenging graphics. I just thought I would put this up hoping it helps. I've gone through almost every setup in the past few months and I finally found one that feels right...
