Impulse is having a Thanksgiving sale similar to D2D and Steam but probably not as good as the latter.
The best deals I've seen are Resident Evil 5 for $25 and Sins of a Solar Empire for $10. Galactic Civilizations 2 Ultimate Edition is $20 also plus a lot more...

So I wonder if this would require a REAL 120Hz display similarly that steroscopic 3D PC games require. And if it does then this means that Sony will be one of the first to deliver on a real 120Hz TV. Only downside would be probably have a high pricepoint like most Sony...
Don't know if I should blame the game or my LG but I have never had this problem with any other game so right now I'm thinking it's the game. I have 24p mode off on the TV and I forced 3d vsync through the nvidia control panel. I'm confused as to what to do to get it playing at the default 60hz...
Just curious because I have been reading up on some PS3 games that use what is referred to as MSAA Quincunx. Does this mean that MSAA is used in addition to Quincunx or is it just a longer special name for the PS3's version of Xbox's AA? It doesn't make sense to me that they would use Quincunx...

My budget is about $900 max and so far I'm considering a 32" Sony XBR9 or a 42" LG 42LG70, both being 120hz LCDs that I know will only allow me 60hz over inputs, but it's going to double as a large TV to watch 1080p movies on. I'm noticing that almost all 1080p sets now are starting to include...
Selling both of my HP's and moving on up to either a single 30" LCD or a 32" HDTV. Looking to sell these on eBay. Both are starting at $0.99 with free shipping and they will end 6/14 just before 12:00 PM EST.
Here is a direct link to my eBay selling page where you will see both of them listed...
It seems like Amazon is having an all day sale (Lightning Deals) on computer related hardware. I'm pissed that I missed out on the deal for the X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty for $100. :(
Deal of the Day is for a Seagate Barracuda 1 TB 7200.11 Hard Drive for $79.99.
Quick Rundown of Deals so...
I have 5.1 Sony surround speakers (see sig), more specifically, my Sony STR-K7200 receiver that is connected to my mobo's integrated optical input. The problem is that when I play a .mkv file for example that I know uses 5.1 audio, it does not output 5.1. I only hear sound coming from the front...
CompUSA has a 24" LCD with a resolution of 1900x1200 by Synaps for $199. I've never heard of Synaps so I don't know if it's worth it or not.

So my ISP is Comcast and as most if not all Comcast users here on [H] may know that they now have a cap on the service to 250GB/ month. Is there any recommended software for monitoring statistics for total downloading and uploading for a duration of time?
This is the lowest that I've seen on this case in months. I already have one of these and I'm already considering another for a backup. :D

Right now I've got a Microsoft Sidewinder x6 and it has a lot of functions, but I don't like the feel/ response of the keys on the keyboard. I used to have a Dell media keyboard but I gave it to my mom when I bought my new i7 rig. How is the Logitech G15 in comparision, or are there any other...
I can get a good deal on eBay for a 40" LCD that I have been looking to buy for a while now and the buyer is trustworthy but I am afraid of UPS damaging the TV. I know that if a bid TV is shipped laying flat on the ground it is prone to shattering. Does anyone have any more insight on this? Also...
I game on a Conroe Intel e6600. I understand that the three most important parts of a computer (games-wise), in order, include: 1. GPU 2. CPU 3. Memory. Is my CPU bottle-necking my HD 4850? I play Crysis at 1680x1050 at 'High' graphics settings and I'm really struggling to stay over even...
Before today my Core2Duo e6600 was idling at 44C until today I decided to clean off the old thermal paste and reapply a new line down the center of the chip. So I reapplied the paste and I am now idling cooler at 41C but it still seems a little high. Does anybody know if this is normal? Thanks. :)
