Games I played when I was a kid was a little different for me. However, I was still playing the heck out of football, baseball, and basketball when I wrote my first program in HS circa 1976. I couldn't complain about a computer game back then because I wrote it. They did suck though. Fun but...
I was just reading the steam forums while downloading the game. Best suggestion I'm seeing so far is to disconnect from the internet after mission 21. Play mission 22 and you wont get that tutorial that makes you make a FOB. I think you can then go back online after mission 22. I've also seen...
The only thing I was super proud of was the case. That's because I drilled out the rivets, painted it, and reassembled it. The only other thing that is special is the PSU. That's the only top of the line part I have in the thing. Nothing else is all that special. Certainly not worth bragging about.
The last few discs I bought still left me downloading large parts of the game anyways. So I just gave up and only buy digital now. CIV IV is the 1 game I would keep if I were to lose all but one. I have that on disc and no internet connection is needed to install and play that.
If I was sure of this then I'd be more open to giving it a try. I do have an old Walmart black Friday special laptop that I'm going to try it out on. That's because if I don't like it or can't revert, well I need a new upgraded one anyway. Main rig, I'm not going to touch it until I see that I...
On page 29, lapino posted some screen shots. What program was he using to monitor his frame rates?
I thought the Witcher looked good on my LG 1080p monitor driven by my 670. At 4k it just blows me away.
The only card that I have bought, that didn't work flawlessly out of the box was from EVGA. Stuff happens, I understand, but it would have to be an advantageous deal for me to buy another one.

is running an overclocked 4770. His results are actually making me feel good about my purchase.
I was excited about the Dx 12 thing until I read that the developer has to code it into the game. So realistically I'm not expecting to see it. Even if it works.
May have to go MSI. The gigabyte is out of stock and I'm seeing too many coil whine, dead connecter complaints.
From a reseller though? I've been watching for a Gigabyte 980 ti and the only one I see on Amazon is like $750 from a reseller. I've seen $689 on newegg and am tempted. There are just a couple of reasons why I haven't already bought it.
There is a lot of obvious price gouging going on right now...
The fan on his radiator looks smaller than my rear exhaust fan. Its 140 mm but looking at the back, there are holes for a 120 mm. I can see more of the rear grill in the OP's pic than I can see looking into the rear of my HAF.
I went push - pull on my rad. I have 3 LED fans on top of the rad. below the top grill. I had to get longer screws from the hardware store but I like the look.
NXZT offers a side panel for your case that allows for installation of two side fans. Might be a good thing to look at if your bottom drive cage can't be remove without possibly damaging the case. It looks to me like it might be spot welded in. Screws or pop rivets would be no problem.
I have one I'll send you. It was working great. I only replaced it to go to 3770K. No guarantees on it but you can have it. Was going to give it away anyway. I have a coworker that pieces together PCs for our other less tech savvy coworkers to surf the internet on and I was going to give it to...
I'm really thinking hard about this. GB cards have been very good for me and I actually want the Witcher game. This looks like the time to get this card.
