Everyone,
I am looking to purchase a P45 or better mobo w/crossfire for $70usd or less. I know my numbers are a little low.
I am trying to replace my DFI LP JR P45-T2RS that has crossfire issue and sata issues. I already RAM this board once and don't need to deal with it possibly being...

I intended to use the cooling blocks and pump for my current pc, but my mobo wouldn't post after installing blocks. This setback made me decide to stick with air cooling. These units had only distilled water ran through them and for 1 hr during leak testing. Price does not include shipping...
In the early days of PayPal. They removed and froze some money from an ebay transaction. I didn't check my bank account before buying something a month after receiving the money. No notification, no nothing. I ended up bouncing a payment for the first time in my credit history. Needless to...
I never really liked white cases, but damn. If only I would have know about the nylon dye. Might have to break down my system and start dying, lol.
What, what, what right there. People still us myspace? I am not interweb anti-social butterfly, but I thought people would have moved on by now. Maybe, I am getting old at 28.
I am not amazed at this product being produced. I am more amazed their poles showed enough people that wanted it. So they designed, produced, and marketed the product.
I am sorry, but all I can think of when reading this is... Netflix saying "All you bases are belong to us." Ok, I am just being silly.
Like a lot have said already. The problem is our infrastructure and not Netflix. Why would an IP company sell a 20 Mbps service and not have the...
Funny you mention Control 4. I love what Control 4 is doing for the entry level consumers, but I like messing around with my software. iRule seemed to be a nice idea worth exploring and you can't beat the price point. My long time friend was asked to help review Crestron's Prodigy line. I am...
Sorry for the late responses everyone.
When I off-load my current URC system. I will be purchasing my new switch and Itach gateways. Glad to hear people are having good luck with Netgear Prosafe units.
I am leaning away from POE because of my lack of knowledge and thinking it might...
I would love to run a ProCurve, but I get better deals on Netgear. If Netgear is less stable and bad customer service then may lean towards HP. I will have to figure out if the extra cost of the ProCurve is worth it to me.
Thanks for the input, YeOldeStonecat
I am mildly ignorant when it comes to networking. I am looking to run a switch to accommodate a new home automation software that uses gateways to control everything. I am interested in Netgear because my buddy gets great deals on them. Especially being a home a/v and integration contractor...
I hope it becomes a competitive OS, but like everyone has said. They are playing catch up. Unfortunately, I look at new phones based on ease of integration within my house's automation and future automation. If an OS is not accepted by home automation companies then it's useless to me. Very...
I am in agreement with everyone regarding the plasma pistol. When playing legendary, the plasma/br combo helped me a lot, and I found myself frustrated when I ran out of ammo for one or the other.
Having the same issue. I don't use the other email anymore and forget it password already. I would also like to change my email to a hotmail account I use daily
If NAD is a supporting member than its expected, probably. Have to keep those dollars rolling.
From what I have noticed. A lot of post about rebadging are not deleted nor banned. Maybe the companies they show as rebadged units are from non-supporting companies.
I have an old NAD t-751...
Why is this sort of business practice such a shocker. Lexicon, like many other companies, have been rebadging equipment forever. Lexicon used to rebadge Bryston and Krown amps everyday. Some rebadged unit do come with some upgrades to the internals.
Jinjuku, I doubt you were banned from...
First of, I am envious of this Rotel and B&W setup.... Must have some day.
Like said before me, numerous time. Why drag down the system with such a terrible TV. A kuro elite, runco, or loewe tv would complement the hifi system better.
For the size of this room he really needs a JL Audio...
I like that the TOB02 unit comes with the adapter already, but its still $150 at retailers. I know you can get an adapter for $15 or less. So that would only cost me $90- $100 for the drive and adapter with shipping. We will see if you get what you pay for.
Panasonic UJ-120 Drive
I was originally looking into the Silverstone slim bd drive, but then I found the above drive.
I am looking to put this into a HTPC. My only concern is would this caused problems with compatibility on a PC as apposed to a laptop? Will my PC recognize the drive...
To pass code in california you just need a single gang remodel box (ie blue boxes at homedepot or lowes), S.O. Cable or Romex 15 amp (white color), a new outlet receptical, and a decor plate. This might cost $25 with tax.
Another note... They also make recessed receptical you can buy from...
Would you suggest a gaming gigabit card? I only ask because I will be streaming to my a/v components.
Also, should I get a larger hard drive for the OS... I read this helps with WHS or did they change something?
This will be my first attempt at making a file server for media. From what I have searched, the athlon 64 3000+ will handle being a server but my question is, will the board? If my system works then I will be buying 5 TB to start.
Computer specs:
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ socket 754
Gigabyte...
Are you trying to fill the 20' x 30' room with music or a movie soundtrack? If yes, then you will definitely need the pre-outs or buy a more powerful A/V receiver. My opinion on this comes from theatre spec sound levels. Which is louder than most people like.
The Eeebox is a good idea but wont work for us. HDD space too small and we have 2 other harddrives to transfer info from. We need 500gb or more. And for the price of 500gb we might as well spend the extra $30 and get 1TB. Costco was a bust but I did pic up a TV when I was there. Not a total...
We looked at dell and they are around $800.00+ with no monitor and lesser parts. I will check out Eeebox today. I was thinking of going to Costco and checking things out there because I can get 3 year warranty on all electronic using my Costco Amex. I thought making a new shuttle would be fun...
Its an old celeron single core I believe. Maintenance has been performed by me. I seriously doubt she goes to any NSFW sites. Its the age of the PC thats hindering the work performance.
