I have a similar problem. Every time I start PC, it begins to boot up normally. Hard drive and fans begin revving up and then it pauses for a second then continues revving up. This only happens with 4th core enabled. It works fine aside from that though.

It's not. They promised a lot of things, but they failed to deliver on most. No directional weapon swings, player owned housing, stealing, and the alignment system is a joke.

received my black edition from newegg yesterday and it came with a small heatsink w/o heatpipes.
Maybe the ones sent to reviewers had copper heatpipes.

There's a post about HD playback using a weaker model, the X1600.
Since you are going to be using a C2D cpu you should be fine.
