My Asus P5B kicked the bucket a couple weeks ago. There really aren't many options in terms of 775 boards available. I ended up just picking up a gigabyte p43-ud3l. It does the job just fine for what I need it for. Wasn't bad for $80.
All the reviews of the P5N-D weren't exactly great or...
I've got a 32" samsung A550 and after lowering the sharpness on it, I think it looks fantastic. It does take a bit to adjust to it, but overall, I think color quality is far superior. I decided a bit ago that I don't really game anymore anyways and since I mainly use it as a media center...
i'm just curious as to how fragile these things are. I work at a fedex office store and have seen a ton of these going back. Some people have said that it broke. Others have said that the update hasn't fixed anything. What's the deal?

that is your best bet in terms of ROMS and all that stuff. a lot of it is broken down that anyone with half a brain (or at least someone who can fully use the phone) could handle.
seriously. when I had my 8525, I got all kinds of info there in like a...
It's going to depend on your use of the screen. I just purchased a samsung 32" 1080p HDTV. I just got it today and it's running quite beautifully. However, I am using this more for a media center than anything. I'm doing basic internet browsing, a game here and there, but mostly watching...
wow. alright, so i haven't had a chance to list this on ebay just yet. so it IS still available. i've gotten quite a few PMs in the past couple days now.

I'm selling my LG l246wp. It is a GREAT monitor and has gotten excellent reviews everywhere. It has lots of inputs, a built in USB hub, amazingly built stand.
Seriously. buy my monitor!
vondozier, I think you may have gotten a defective unit. My monitor shows no evidence of ghosting and surely does not have any burn in. I can say the same for a few of my friends who purchased the same monitor shortly after I did as well.
just in case you guys are lazy, this is my ebay feedback as I don't have any sourcse on here other than weenis.

just in case anyone was wondering, I scrounged up an old newegg link for more accurate specs on the monitor. There's like a 75 page thread here on it (I bought it because of that thread).

This monitor has served me well, but...
I just listed my LG 246wp in the classifieds if you're interested in a bit of a jump. Just a heads up since 1920 x 1200 res is a significant improvement over 1680 x 1050
I'm looking to sell a 24" LG Flatron 246wfp (something like that) monitor. It has an MVA panel for much better viewing angles (harder to come by in a monitor these days).
Monitor features:
- HDMI, VGA, and Component inputs
- 1920 x 1200 resolution (Full HD + 120 vertical pixels)
- 1:1...
are you employed? you can always see what your discount you can get through your employer... I know through ATT I get a 22% discount through my company.
I'm a big fan of Denon equipment. Onkyo makes some pretty good stuff at an affordable price. I think yamaha makes some decent equipment, and even pioneer. Really, just find something that fits your needs.
are there any other recommendations other than the auzentech? I really want a soundcard that can pass more than 2 channels via optical as well. Been using my onboard (crappy soundmax) and it doesn't do that.
I'm not sure where you're located, but around here we have the LA computer fair where all kinds of shops come together and sell their stuff. If you pay cash, you can always get some great deals since they don't necessarily have to document it.
check around your local papers.
I just really don't like TN panels... and that's all you can get in a 22" flavor. they've gotten better but they're definitely not up to snuff in terms of other technologies. The bigger you go with a TN panel, the worse it gets.
I'd say the curve might be a good choice. I did play around with the propel and it seemed to be okay... but I think once you go blackberry, you don't ever go back.
