Should be a pretty close race... i7 basically has the 8 core simulation that may give it a slight edge in performance. All in all the i5 is certainly a great performer.

I cant get the password to work otherwise I would just do that anyways. I type in my username (thats used on the 1000H, which also the same as my desktop) and then the password I have on it set to, to log on to windows.... and it doesnt work.

I checked for driver updates to the Realtek and it states that it is up-to-date. I found what I think is the SP-1 download, but if you could post a link of the actual SP-1 download just to clarify, that would be great! I used Winamp and it also has the same effect.

I have my EVGA 8800GT 256mb at 761/1904/1030 on RivaTuner Runs 3DMark06 all the way through, so I call that fairly stable. I might bump down to 750/1869/1030 just to be on the safe side.

Situation Resolved. Looked around for awhile on here trying to troubleshoot the problem on my own, and actually ended up finding out what was the problem (actually for two problems I was having). So I eventually just hooked my computer directly to the router to get some updates done...
