Thanks for the assistance. When I input my cards serial number I found that it was shipped on 03/2012, so when I registered it I got almost a full 3 year warranty, which was nice as thats ~ the same warranty as most cards.
The Classified Ultra is a beast, size wise, power wise and...
I just won the bidding on a new EVGA 03G-P3-1595-AR GeForce GTX 580 Classified ULTRA and since the seller claims that he doesnt have the receipt; I was a bit concerned when I did some dd on registering it. Some posters said that youre SOL without an invoice from an approved reseller but that...
Maybe to you but I spent ~ a half an hour searching and never came up with a definitive answer. BTW, if you have a link that explains that, I'd really appreciate it. That way I can furnish it to my prospective purchaser and simply not tell him that it's transferable.
I've searched high and low trying to find the answer to that question; so if anyone knows the answer I'd really appreciate a link to an authoritative source.
FYI, I did send an inquiry to MSI but lord only knows how long it will take them to reply, if they do.
I was lucky to score an EVGA from the Egg before they sold out. However, in the heat of the moment I didnt do any dd on future 680 cards but after pulling the trigger I found out about the EVGA 680 Classified. So I sold my EVGA to a friend, who needless to say was very appreciative, and am...
Normally I dont jump on anything thats brand new but after reading Brents review, I pulled the trigger on an EVGA 02G-P4-2680-KR from the Egg yesterday.
Now Ive got the waiting game for it to arrive and then Ive got to see if its everything I expect and its not DOA. If thats the...
Any way you look at it, new card or crossfire, you really should upgrade your PSU.
This one looks pretty good and will provide you with enough wattage to power any card(s) you want, not only now but in the future.

When I was rereading the HARDCOP review on the H100 I found this "Lastly, there is a mysterious connection unlike any other that Corsair refers to as "Corsair Link." It is an add-on module that allows finer control of your H100 through sensors that monitor pump speed, coolant temp and fan...
I noticed on their review that they stated:
"The upcoming control software will of course allow us much more flexibility to balance the performance to noise ratio which is a bonus."
Does anyone have a clue as to when that software will be available?
If you purchase a Sager from a reputable dealer, like Xotic, Power Notebooks, GenTech etc. they normally provide you with assistance with any customer service needs, returns etc.
These are pretty good illustrations from Xotic of what I'm referring to:

The back exhaust fan on the HAF-X is a stock coolermaster 140mm fan, but if you take out that fan there are holes for both 140mm and 120mm holes, so you can mount the H70.
With its .8mm SGCC steel chassis, with plastic front and top bezels, the Haf X tips the scales at 31.6 pounds.
Overall I'd rate its build quality as a solid 8 and solid is the operative word. You've heard the old saw about "it's built like a brick outhouse" and this instance I can...
I just finished a round of dd on a new case and it came down to either the 650D, or the Haf X; both of which would have fit my needs to a T. After a coin toss I ended up ordering the Haf X and I just finished my build.
I had the older version of the Haf, the 932, and the X only refines that...

I've been going round and round about getting a U3011 to replace my 24" L246WP IPS monitor but $1124, with free shipping, just convinced me to pull the trigger.
I'm going to keep my LG until I'm able to run the U3011 for at least a month but then I'll be putting Sale board.

The upcoming refresh isn't going to offer anything that beats a 5870. So you'll have to wait for the Caymen to hit the market for a 5870 beater, whenever that may be. Personally I won't be looking at upgrading my 2x 5870's until the 28nm cards come out.
This pretty well covers what the...
I used the live chat and the girl I was dealing with must have invested all her $'s in Amazon stock as it was like pulling teeth to get her to issue a promotional certificate. After more than a few of rounds of "we're sorry" and my "so what are you going to do about retaining me as an Amazon...
You really need to provide us with the full specs of your current rig.
I'd hate to see spend some of your hard earned $'s only to find out that that you're rig bottlenecks your new card and you're no better off with the new card.
Check with the place where you bought the card for their return/replacement policy and if you qualify, get an RMA number and return it asap. Otherwise you'll need to contact XFX and pray they don't make you wait forever and a day for a replacement.

I've been looking for a couple of cards to replace my 2 XFX GTX285's and during my dd I came across that card. Not a whole lot of info on it, aside from http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...-470,2713.html where they were able to O/C it to core clock to 800 MHz and the shader clock to 1600 MHz...
I ordered two of these cards on the 26th @ $209.99 per but if you do a search for ENGTX460 on Amazon now, you get this http://www.amazon.com/PCI-Express-ENGTX460-TOP-2DI-1GD5/dp/B003WUXNPO/ref=pd_ecc_rvi_cart_1

The first semester of grad school can be rather intense, to say the least. The first day was a real eye opener for me as the Professors in all of my classes basically said read chapters 1-4 and be ready to discuss them tomorrow. Yikes!
However, in retrospect they simply wanted to weed out...
