    Some boards need lots of voltage to get pass a OC wall Try giving it 1.4~1.46 voltage. Don't worry as long as the temps dont go past 83c load you will be fine You are on water so you shouldn't worry about that

    4870 x2 vs 2 gtx 260 Sli/285 ?

    Not really. A 4870x2 gets higher points in 3dmark06 then a GTX 295, yet the 295 gets better fps in games.

    Got it back to 4.0ghz with 1.35 voltage. Temps are around 79c-83c orthos load though. It won't hurt the CPU with these temps right? because I don't think i'll be using 100% cpu usage when playing games...

    Ok well, 3.8ghz @ 1.2 vcore is around 70c load. 4.0ghz @ 1.3vcore is around 81. is that a decent temp still? I'm not sure why, but I keep on getting BSOD's @ 4.0ghz when i'm using a lower vcore
