Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Since Canada Post is currently on strike, would shipping something with them now be a bad idea? I don't want the package i'm sending to get stuck at some warehouse or something.
thanks
Does anyone else have a problem with the stand for this monitor? I've had it for about a week and well it's great for gaming and all but the stand is pretty bad. If I type too fast the screen will wobble around a bit.
Is there anything I can do to fix this? i've tryed putting paper towels under...
i'm not sure how but just go look at reviews. And even if the 295 is slightly better, its north worth paying over $200 for it then dual gtx 260's
And yes, I have owned a 295 before..
Some boards need lots of voltage to get pass a OC wall
Try giving it 1.4~1.46 voltage. Don't worry as long as the temps dont go past 83c load you will be fine
You are on water so you shouldn't worry about that
Bump. Can someone try and help me get past 4.0ghz? 4.0ghz is rock solid but i can't get past it
Settings are
1.306 voltage
20x200
1.46 vtt
1.140 ioh
1.6 ddr
x6 ram multi
x36 qpi
x13 uncore
Even with 1.4+ voltage I can't seem to post :(
Got it back to 4.0ghz with 1.35 voltage. Temps are around 79c-83c orthos load though.
It won't hurt the CPU with these temps right? because I don't think i'll be using 100% cpu usage when playing games...
Ok well, 3.8ghz @ 1.2 vcore is around 70c load. 4.0ghz @ 1.3vcore is around 81. is that a decent temp still?
I'm not sure why, but I keep on getting BSOD's @ 4.0ghz when i'm using a lower vcore
Looking to trade my Prelude for a pci-e soundcard. I am getting a second GTX 285 for SLI and I won't be able to fit my card inbetween them :(
Let me know what you have to offer
Specs
i7 920 D0
Gigabyte X58 Extreme
Noctua NH-U12P SE1366
Patriot Viper Extreme 6gb
Right now i'm running it at 3.8ghz with 1.3vcore. What settings should I use? My settings are
1.3vcore
20x190
1.6 dram
1.3 qpi/vtt
1.2 ioh
Everything like qpi speed is on auto
Thanks
I can boot into...
Well the batch I got is apparently a good clocker :)
So I just need a MoBo that won't hold me back from a good OC.. Hopefully I can get 4.2 with the P6T or Deluxe V2, not sure if i'm going to return it still..
http://ocxtreme.org/forumenus/showthread.php?t=4766
Thats the same batch I have. He got 4.7ghz on a TRUE so I think my chip can easily get 4.2... Not sure if my MoBo will though...
I could get the Gigabyte Extreme for $40 more then the deluxe. opinions ??
How much better would the Deluxe/Evga X58 oc over the vanilla? I have the regular p6t vanilla but I can return it and get the deluxe or evga for $40 more..
I have a i7 D0 by the way. I want to get atleast 4.2ghz on a TRUE.
The only differnce I can see between the vanilla and deluxe is that...
Will it run x16/x16 in SLI? i'm about to return my p6t for this board, but one thing that caught my attention is "1 x PCIe x16, 1 x PCIe x8/x16"
What exactly does the x8/x16 mean? i'm a bit confused with that
This is my PSU; Fortron FSP 760W
