Hi, I want to start an owners thread about this board since it has loads of bugs...
Let me start the posting with a few questions to other owners:
What BIOS version did ur board come with - and how hot does ur chipset get?
So far I've had 2 boards and both of them have failed to...
..will these boards ever hit the market? I was reading this article on fudzilla : http://www.fudzilla.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=9536&Itemid=1
according to this the MCP7A-S will not feature hybrid power features - but there is other MCP7A chipsets comming or?
If anyone...
Hi,
I've been wating for hybrid SLI motherboards with intel socket LGA775 to arrive for quite some time - and now it seems the time is near. Only problem now is that in order to have hybrid power working, a system will require a hybrid SLI certified PSU :/ ...
I've won a coolermaster 1kW...
apparently the site im using to download trailers merely has links to apples trailer-site and are protected by the legal notices listed here: http://www.apple.com/legal/terms/site.html (for anyone who cares)
but u think that its illigal then... hmmm - im not so sure it is - let me point out again that no legal notices are displayed in the video material or on the website im downloading the vids from. I think the legal notices would be part of the trailer if there was meant to be any sharing...
I dont know - i guess copyright isnt really what sharing the material is about. I've downloaded the trailers from http://www.drfoster.f2s.com/trailers_b.shtml and just want to know if its ok to further distribute the trailer-vids. Im guessing its ok since movie-producing companies will want...
Hi
I was wondering if I am correct in assuming that sharing movie trailers is NOT illegal. I've seen no copyright msgs in any of the trailers I've been looking at, so would I be correct in assuming that I could upload trailers to my website without any legal issues?
Thx

Im on the lookout for a motherboard that supports the new HybridPower technology. The first boards out are 780a and 730a - but both these boards are for amd cpus.
Does anyone know if there will be hybrid power boards out with Intel sockets anytime soon?
thx
Ive been wating for these hybrid power boardcs to hit the market for about 6 months - but now it seems that they only come with AM2+ or AM2 sockets? Have i missed something? I was hoping to throw a E8400 on it, but that wont be possible it seems :/
are they comming at all?
ive just taken a look at the Sony: KDL-32XBR6 120Hz owners manual, and it looks like it only runs at 60Hz? - at least all the HDMI inputs does - it might do some 120Hz'ing to antenna signals i dunno. Does anyone know if the panny doesnt run 100 HZ, as stated, aswell?
Hadnt seen this one "I...
Hi
I've been wating for a couple of years for a purchase of a big screen and it seems now is a good time to buy. My biggest concern in the past has been response-time - i dont want any lag and many monitors that has been sold the last couple of years has had issues, but now it seems most...
Are u comparing it to a CRT monitor as u play? Im using an old 19" xerox monitor that really isnt anything special, and I cant tell the difference in black tones from my crt monitor (i run a dual monitor setup) - perhaps the maps are just made very dimm?... Im running the 2 monitors at about the...
thx for the review... nice to finally hear something about this monitor (besides costumer reviews)... No input lag thats good to know - I remember some dude talking about this monitor having huge input lag - but the problems he described didnt seem to be typical input lag, so i guess he just...
thx 2 both of u :D - ive heard about jhonnyguru b4 but had just forgotten about him... I'll take a look at his tests and choose a PSU from those aswell as the ones at the 80Plus site...
dunno yet - but soemthing like this one http://www.80plus.org/manu/psu/documents/Antec_TPQ850_850W_80PLUS_Report.pdf
Im not sure how much the efficiency test can be trusted btw - ive read some reviews that give lower efficicency scores to some of the models ive read about on this 80plus site...
Hi
Im planning to build a new system once hybrid SLI hits the streets. Running with a passive GFX card and a 90W TDP CPU (or such) should result in a 130-150W idle power consumption (or something like that) so I'd like a PSU that has around 80% effeciency at those 150W... The PC Power &...
I've read in some user reviews that the hum issue can b solved by just turning down the volume of the speakers - if ur not using them ofc - can u confirm this?
to pitbull46: U should try buying the Hanns-G 27.5" from germany - its basicly the same panel just another manufacturer, and then its...
u could try testing response time with test tools like this one http://www.vanity.dk/tft/monitorTest_scale.html - there is a dropdown menu at the top of the screen - choose trailing. the difference in responsce time is often very noticeable when u have a test-app like this one, that has values u...

ok we've misunderstood eachother then... when he said that the "resolution is too small" (which by the way was stated...
i am ofc aware that the resolution is static and doesnt change - ever... what im arguing is that there are boundries to what a human eye can percieve.... looking at two 40" tv's from 2.2 meters distance or more, one running 1920x1080 and one running 1366x768, the human eye cannot tell the...
ye thats pretty much what i expected to hear.... its a viewsonic btw :D - not a toshiba... I think i know all i need to know now - thx for ur time and help whoster69 - uve been great :p
what ur saying here makes no sence... there are charts for what pixelsize the human eye can percieve - if ur looking at a 32" TV from 1.4 meters or more away, u wont b gaining anything from a res higher than 1920x1080... heres a test tool that help define res vs. viewing distances -...
ye i hate that hdcp protection aswell - its only purpose is to make more money through licences :( - i wouldnt list it as a con though...
could u perhaps try to describe the viewing angles? im guessing that pictures from ur camera wont be worth much, so just tell me what u think :D
I found this brand new review of the viewsonic - and its pretty thorough aswell http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,1697,2175175,00.asp
it only gets a 6 out of ten - and i think thats mostly cause the guy reviewing it has the mindset that all monitors should be near perfect in image.... Im...
nice pics man - but its pretty obvious that ur camera cant reproduce the pictures as they are - still, for some reason, its nice to see some pics :D
I noticed in the "pic 2 series" that the green tree line behind the road aren't visible at all on the viewsonic - but i take it that its because...
