Actually a G27 is much better than a DFGT by every criteria, but especially the pedals. Tbh, a DFGT sux, it's okay as a console wheel but for PC sim racing a G27 is the best place to start.

FEAR and XP are 2 of the best looking games ever made, however, neither FEAR2 or Persue Mandate are anything special graphically, so if you're referring to GFX, you're dead wrong. I play FEAR at 1920x1200 everything totally maxed with 4xaa and 16af and it's beautiful.....XP is the same...

How much can you get a 4890 for? A 4890 is about 90% faster than a 4850 512mb. Your 4850 will handle most games at 16x10 anyways. I have a 4850 and max everything in DX9 @1920x1200.

Mass Effect is a classy game with strong RPG but appalling FPS. FO3 is monumentally overated, so if you like that, then you might like ME, but be warned, if you like FPS, ME will let you down bigtime.

Agree.....Crysis also has better pacing. Warhead is a PC exclusive for dummies aka the console brigade. Warheads graphics are excellent, and has plenty of ice/snow.

Most 512 mb cards choke at 1600p, so I gig is desirable for future games that will be equivalent to 1680x1050. 1 GIG FTW:D:D

YO......It's 2008, as such, the games have HD quality built into them, so there's no real need to go crazy and max it at 1920x1200, granted it will look a bit sharper, but 12x10 maxed will look awesome.

So by the sounds of it.....1600p is better for work, ie, text and work related graphics, but the 1080p HDTV shits on the 30in for everything else. 32in 1080p+++++++++ 1......50 000 times better black levels 2.....Bigger 16:9 images due to native 16:9 shape, so the 32 isn't "just" 2 inches...
