Yea I played for a couple of hours last night/this morning and enjoyed it quite a bit. Turning off vsynch definitely helps with the mouse issue...I also disabled the post processing effects...I dunno they didn't look quite right (could be me though lol). Overall I'm satisfied with the...
That statement right there pretty much sums it up for me as well. Since it's being developed by Gearbox, I would say chances are pretty decent that it will be a good game...especially with 16 to18 hours of singleplayer. I got a lot of hours out of Borderlands so hopefully I will get the same...
I'm unable to find a copy of the install docs for this...anyone have a set? I'm using the 2009 setup and have played Morrowind tons before but wouldn't mind having this just to tinker around with maybe. Thanks :)
Do you have a way in game of tracking your FPS while playing during laggy moments? If not, try downloading Fraps and running it while playing...it should put a yellow number in one corner of your screen.
Yea the place I formerly worked at had Kofax scanning software that required a dongle be attached to get full functionality of the software. We had one go bad at one point and it took me about a week of going back and forth on the phone to find a parallel replacement for it...such a PITA
Nice work on being 3 years sober :) And Borderlands is very fun lol. Me and my bro have spent quite a bit of time playing it...we're currently working on the 2nd playthrough. We only play when both of us can so we can keep missions and all that straight (no catching up for either of us ya...
Bought it for PC as that's my main gaming platform (the only console I own is a PS2). I've played a lot of SP and me and my bro have done quite a bit of LAN games, too. We haven't played much online (only a bit with some friends) so I can't speak on seeing any hacking or anything as I've not...
You know...I played MW some and had some fun with it. I wasn't that good at it (UT2k3 and 2k4 were always my faves) but I did have fun with it and I was seriously thinking of getting MW2 but, after reading all of what's been floating around, I think I'll pass.
Yea I can definitely agree to this. I'm preloading it right now and all I can think is how much I want to play it after work tomorrow lol. I don't mind the extra wait so much...I just hope the game lives up to the hype.
I joined it mainly to keep tabs on what was going on. Yea at first I was a bit miffed about L4D2 but I figured "what the hell...I got a lot of play outta the first one...might pick up the second one.". I've not committed myself one way or the other as there are other titles I'm waiting for...
How long is the 5850? I'm gaming at 1680x1050 as well and have been debating on which to get. If I have to, I can cut up my HDD cage and make room....shouldn't be too hard.
I was thinking of a modest OC...something like maybe 3.6...that chip should do that easily enough. May have to try my hand at it...long overdue. I've been wanting to for a while now but every time I think "What if I smoke it lol".
I usually wouldn't quote myself, but I was hoping someone could shed some light on this for me...I'm not quite sure where bottlenecks come into play with what processors and video cards. Any information would be much appreciated...I'll even send Ron Burgundy to your house for a singing...
Yea I loves me some AA and AF. I know it's too early to judge but do you think a stock clock E8500 would need to be OC'd for this? I'm on an Asus P5Q Pro and 4gig of DDR2-1000. Just wanting to get my ducks in line, so to say.
