I was expecting it to fail immiediatly, but it never.I dont really want to leave it for long during the day,as i need to use it,but it passed for nealy 5mins.I know its not long, but i need to use it.
The vcore went up from an indicated 1.24v to 1.26v.The max temps were about 58/9c on each...
Stable enough for me,i just did 3 3dmark06 runs 1 after another and it was fine.My score was 15438 with the card stock.I may try again later with the card clocked a little.
Much better than my old E6750.
Heres a quick pic.
Edit- 4.5ghz at 1.32v set in bios-...
Well come on,you didnt have to be so offensive did you you *rick.
Ive posted some in the watercooling gallery if you fancy going and slagging them off too.
I bought the 350 drive, and put a xspc restop on it.But i had no leaks using it as it was, apart from the noise with it fitted onto my mobo. Also you can do a mod on the 350's pump to essentially turn it into a ddc3.2/mcp355 pump.
Thanks.
Its only a E6750 :( its at 3.6ghz atm,it will run at 4ghz but it needs 1.56v and even though i have water cooling,i dont really like running the vcore that high 24/7.
I am well impressed with these sticks though.
I got my 2x2gb ballistix today, and just thought i would post my pic with them at 1200 at 2.0v
Heres the ones i got-

They are cheap for 2gb sticks that will do 1200 on only 2.0v

I dont have a reset button on my v1000 case, and tbh i dont miss it.If it does hard lock,i have to waste 4 seconds of my life holding the power button down.My mb does have one onboard though its not very practical with my case side on.
Personally after having looked at the cm case,i would say stick with the v1000b.Thats what mine is,and i have 120.2 and a 120.1 fitted internally in it.
My max cpu temp on air was 65c+,now my chips max is no more than 48c,a bit more than 5c.Also my 4850 now runs at 28c idle(40+ on air) and 38c load(60+ on air) Water cooling is about load temps, not idle. Its load temp were the advantage is gained not idle temps.
Theres an option for a second 240mm rad on the other side too.I just need to sleeve the pci-e power lead now,and cut the motherboard tray to run the atx 8pin lead through the back of the board.I thought the rad there is pretty slick myself, some people like it and some dont. Its the best use of...
I think his point is you need to buy all the fans,it cost my mate about £60 or £70 for fans for his case.I notice the TJ07 for example, comes with six fans(2 top/2 back/2on hdd cages) which is'nt bad for a £230 case.
My mate bought a mountain mods case, which came flat packed.Inside the packaging was 6 flat panels with the holes for fans etc cut into them, and a 5.25" drive bay caddy. It did not come with any 5.25" bay blankers or any pci slot covers. In MY opinion this case was not worth the £250 it cost him...
Did you not consider cutting the motherboard tray so the wires could come from behind it? i did it on mine and it looks awefully tidy now, specially with the water block on my card.
EDIT-the trouble is,it dont stay shiny for long. With the black sidepanel,it looks good with black material in...
So its better to strip the whole case just for a shiny bottom panel,i have since put some black sound proofing stuff in the bottom of my case.
Does a good job include the scratches?
My water loop is finished,i just need to sleeve my atx24/atx8 and pci-e leads now and it will be...
With the side on,my case looks pretty much stock.I did it like this coz i did not want it on the top,i want to add a second 4850 at some point.I have fitted a window and a matching cut out on the side panel for the rad.I also have the option of a second 240mm rad on the other side.I still have...
Heres how i fitted the radiator into my v1000b.
Heres a crappy pic of how it is now with the xspc razor block on my 4850.
That is very nice ATLPIMP :D that psu is massive.
