lol ..you might of seen a previous post of mine eh? I can't speak for every 5750 owner, but while mine does get a little warm ..it doesn't "overheat like a bitch". I haven't had any issues with mine until just recently. (had to RMA vid card). Although It does push out some heat ..it's not...

resolution does matter ...you will thank your self by getting something better. Sager notebooks might be able to provide you with a good 19" for a reasonable price. With vigor you are paying for the paint job..

isnt the m5550 core 2 duo? dell is a good priced notebook..i would recommend the 7600 go over the x1400 though ...for gaming

the 1705 is by far the better....but like everyone else said ...you wanna lug around a desktop replacement? with the 1705 you can always get an extra battery if you like... and i built the same system as the asus at cyberpowerpc for much less(except with ati x1600) ..may i suggest probing...
