You should plug the black plug from the headset into the green jack on the sound card.

My media pc runs fine with an old PCP&C Silencer (20-pin). Of course that machine doesn't see really heavy loads. Celly 420, 8500GT, 2GB, 1 SATA HDD If your rig runs fine then you can probably skip the adapter.

I believe that driver is Windows identifying what architecture the CPU is using. That will be installed when Windows is installed. As others have said, if you can find all of the drivers direct from the hardware manufacturers it should work. You don't need to flash the bios, unless you want to.:D

The silver versions are vinyl dyed by Performance PCs. The Pioneer burners are the only ones that originally come in silver, so they are the same price as the black ones.

I would highly recommend the Z-5500's for gaming. I've never heard that Klipsch system but it probably sounds better than the Logitechs. I don't think it's worth spending the extra money though.

My motherboard has a three pin wide power connector as well. I just didn't plug in the power LED. You might be able to cut the power LED plug in half with a razor blade and plug in each half.

I ran an FX-55 in my A8V Deluxe. Should take a 3500+ with no problems.

I have an Asus A8V Deluxe. It has the VIA K8T800PRO chipset. I haven't OCed on it, so I don't know if the AGP lock works. I'm not sure why it wouldn't work, I've never had any problems with the board. Anyway, PM if interested.
