I jumped the gun on building a desktop this past February and need the money for a laptop. I would prefer to sell the system complete but I wouldn't be opposed to taking out the video card and/or hard drive and selling it as a barebone system.
Here are the specs:
Case: LIAN LI...
Sorry, this is my first build.

Should the bare drive just install into the hard drive cage without rails? It seems to "float" and be very unstable.
I just built a new computer and bought a Western Digital Bare Drive. It didn't come with any mounting brackets/rails and I am having a hard time finding them online. Every Google search just turns up 3.5" to 5.25" brackets.
Does anyone know where I can find mounting brackets/rails for a 3.5"...
How would I get a list of all the files in a directory including subdirectories with their paths?
I am currently using:
$dir = "posts";
$root_posts = glob($dir . "/*.txt");
$sub_dirs = glob($dir . "/*" , GLOB_ONLYDIR);
foreach ($sub_dirs as $directory) {
$sub_posts =...

I need to sort the objects in this array by their date.
This code works as an associative array - however - i need the objects to be accessible by strictly their dates for permanent link purposes. Hence the "output[] = array($date => array($title, $date, $body));"...
SimpleXML is perfect for RSS feeds but when I try to use an Atom feed it won't pass the link element.

Thanks for suggesting SimpleXML is seems much easier. :)

I want to create a new array element in $feed that will add the aforementioned page title to each item.
Every rss document has a title tag with the name of the feed in it ...
for example:
$feed['name'] = "CNN.com" <- the one I would like to add to know which...
I am trying to extract just the title tag of the feed from an rss/xml document using DOM.
All of the examples I have found online will only tell you how to add each individual item from the feed into an array.
All I want is the title of the feed - e.g. cnn.com's would simply be "CNN.com"...
Here is the whole code - $article format is html that i am using as a template for entries called from a config.php file.
if (isset($_GET['article'])) $article = sanitize_mysql($_GET['article']);
if (($article != null) && ($article >= 1) && ($article <= $num_articles))
{
$query =...
There isn't anything that differs.
Here is why I use that code twice:
1.) use $_GET to see if article # is defined (?article=x, permalink)
2.) if article # isn't defined show 5 articles at a time.
There are two mysql querys before the loops:
$query = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM...
I use this code twice in one page and want to know how I can trim it down or maybe create a function.
Any help would be appreciated

I dunno, Best Buy has a lot of notebooks for under $600, they honestly beat the selection at Newegg. I have been looking at a Thinkpad (14.1", Core 2, 4GB, 4500mhd, 320gb). It is priced significantly less then what it would be on lenovo...
Sorry about that ...
The best performance for the buck. Not looking for a netbook need the optical drive. Something sturdy, preferably 14.1" display but would go up to 15.6" depending. Also remember that build quality is important. Don't really mind 1+ inch thick.
I am looking for a laptop for under $600 (US).
I don't have anything too specific in mind but am a HUGE fan of build quality.
Please give me some suggestions. :)
Thanks in advance.
I search the forums and couldn't find a thread that answered my questions and google listed several sites that contradicted one another. I have come here for the answer.
